Other reviews describe condition fairly well. The unit is 20-30 years old? and shows it. Needs a thorough renovation. Kitchen cabinets and countertop well-worn. Stained carpet. Inoperable and leaky bedroom window. Poor lighting. Definitely needs repainting and freshening. Has a sink disposal but could not find a way to get it to run. I can appreciate the cost to take the unit off the market and invest in major remodeling vs. continuing to milk the cash cow, but the time of decision will come. Otherwise, the value proposition compared to other properties will be a real decision factor for potential customers.As for amenities, great location and view. Pretty quiet given surf and wind. Well equipped for modest housekeeping although some utensils and appliances need replacement (coffee-maker, some really dull knives for example). Great internet connection and TV programming choices. HVAC kept perfect temperature. Bed was very comfortable. No complaints about overall cleanliness.The unit did not affect our vacation experience at all. We had just as good a time as if we had stayed in a luxury suite. The resort location was tops with all its features.I can't overrate this unit on emotions. In terms of condition, a rating of two out of five is realistic; somewhat below average. Comparative value is average at a three rating. Our personal experience rating is four, above average. Overall, this property is average in our opinion.Can recommend if you temper your expectations.
