We arrived on Maui during a Kona Low Storm. There was terrible flooding and we were unable to make it to the west side of the island. Our host was in contact with us through the whole ordeal and even refunded our room for the night we couldn't get to the condo to stay.Upon entering the condo we were so impressed with how clean and well taken care of it was, and that it looked exactly as described. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and the bed was comfy. We didn't have the greatest whether for our stay, but staying where we did made it possible to still have a fabulous vacation. We were able to whale watch every day from our patio! We will definitely be staying here again when we make it back to Maui.

Beautifully updated condo in a quiet complex with easy parking and access to the unit. The patio was very close to the water and lovely for seasonal whale watching (we saw tons without any binoculars) and lots of turtles swimming. There is even a nice little beach for easy access to the ocean. This unit was perfect for our stay!

Excellent! Expectations exceeded! Perfect location. Every possible item one would need for cooking was present. Recreational items from boogie boards to beach chairs to snorkel gear was conveniently onsite. Access to be able to do laundry was a huge help. The dwelling was neat, clean and modern with appliances etc.

The condo was everything we hoped for. The kitchen was very clean, and there were plenty of cooking utensils, kitchenware, etc, for cooking simple meals. The ac In the bedroom was very helpful. We had a truly enjoyable stay at the Honokowai VRBO in Maui. The room was wonderful — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location is absolutely beautiful, with ocean views and a peaceful setting that makes it easy to relax and enjoy all that Maui has to offer. The host was excellent, very responsive and quick to assist whenever needed, which made our trip even smoother.The only small drawback was that some other guests tended to gather right outside the window, and it could occasionally be a bit noisy. That said, it was a minor issue compared to the overall experience. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a great place in Maui.

Stop searching and book this stay! WOW. We got to swim with turtles each day - and we even saw a pair of Spotted Eagle Rays! The place was immaculate and super comfortable. Having the grass to sit on in our beach chairs while getting in and out of the water was perfection. Snorkeling and the sunset on our own private beach was the cherry on top!

Absolutely could not beat the location. Observed whales with binoculars most days. Some even closer. Had turtles, dolphins and a monk seal also visit while we were there. Bed was comfy which is most important to me. Only downside is that it small. No place to set out suitcases and no dressers. Had to keep luggage in the living room. So if you are not traveling light, you may need to consider this.

Great Maui location

A sweet piece of paradise

Few condos can say it is just steps away from the beach, but this one is. The sound of the waves, the private beach, the view of the islands of Lanai & Molokai, and the balmy Hawaiian wind made for an unbeatable location. The host is quick to respond to your questions and is very helpful. The condo is small but has everything you'll need for a perfect stay. The decorating is tasteful, the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, blenders, a coffee machine, and utensils. The appliances are modern, everything is spotlessly clean, and the bed is comfortable. We thought it was wonderful, and recommend it to anyone wanting a great place to stay in Lahaina.
