We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was beautiful and incredibly convenient. The ocean view was amazing, and the area had a much slower, more relaxed pace compared to the larger resort areas like Kaanapali, which we really appreciated.It was just a very short walk down to the beach, making it easy to go back and forth throughout the day. The grass area out front was also a highlight—it was a great space to relax and enjoy the scenery.The condo itself was very clean and well cared for. The kitchen was well stocked, and we appreciated the little extras left by previous renters like spices and olive oil, which made cooking easy. It was also nice that beach chairs were available for guests to use.There was plenty of parking right out front, which made coming and going very easy. The pool was not heated during our stay in March, but it was still pleasant to use.Overall, this was a great place to stay and we would happily come back.

Loved the view. The place was stocked well, except needed a broom. Quick walk to Kapalua Bay to snorkel. The bathroom inspired my future home renovation. The bed could be slightly more comfortable and it was difficult to cool off the place with the AC. Overall I would come back it’s in a nice quiet neighborhood and great location.

Overall wonderful stay with a beautiful view

Incredible view from the giant bay windows where we were able to whale watch. Huge bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable bed and well-decorated accommodations. Our only warning would be that if you have a serious fear of bugs and critters, choose a room that’s on a higher floor. We did have 5 cockroaches visit over our 3 day stay (and one small frog!)

Exceptional Unit

This was our 4th stay at the Bay Villas and the best unit we've stayed in thus far. As former VRBO owners, we know what a great looks like and this unit exceeded it. Although we supported all the local restaurants, the kitchen was extremely well stocked with china, glassware, utensils, etc... Having an ice/water dispenser was a bonus. The bamboo blackout blinds were very nice. Being a patio level unit, access to the coastal trail was very quick and convenient.

Not what I expected - a disappointment

The unit was not cleaned prior to our arrival. There were dried up worms on the floor and the floors were dirty. Ants were in the kitchen sink, on the kitchen countertop and all throughout the kitchen and living area. The kitchen table had a thick layer of dust on it. Of all the VRBO homes that I have stayed in this was the worst one. I must give credit to the owner because the way it was decorated and the size of it for a one bedroom was ideal.

R&R in West Maui

Secluded and upscale condo resort. The unit is spotless. Love the attention to details! There were a lava water bottle and two bags of chips. We took the glass water bottle back home to Houston! The gate code keeps an extra security layer. The condo is very spacious especially for a one-bedroom unit. We love the ocean view and back patio. Napili Bay is a short 5-10 minutes walk. No waves, perfect spot for young children and snorkeling. I wish we spent more time at Napili Bay.

Kapalua hideaway

Great property, exactly as advertised. The Bay Villas offer everything a family needs for a great Hawaiian holiday. We prefer this location over many others in Maui because of the quieter more private feeling it provides. The unit is great and a good size for a family of 3 or four. Nicely updated with great decor. We plan to return.

Excellent spot for West Maui

Beautiful setting in a higher-end condominum complex on the shore. 5 minute access to two adjacent beaches, with a stunning lava peninsula in between. Very quiet. The condo itself was spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked and everything worked. Managers were excellent - great communication and very responsive whenever questions and minor issues came up.

Fabulous house

Beautiful large open plan house with modern amenities and plenty of lounging and dining space for at least 8 adults. So well stocked with absolutely everything you could possibly imagine you'd ever need. Space for 3 cars on the drive and a pretty back garden for the warmer weather. We travelled with a baby and there was a cot provided, high chair and even a box of baby stuff including changing mats, disposable bibs etc. Wood provided for the burner in the living room which was easy to use and made the evenings very cosy. Malcolm and Angela could not have been more helpful, fabulous hosts. Would recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.
