This place has a Beautiful view of the ocean, one of the A/C units went out and they sent someone out to replace it swiftly!I would definitely recommend this place, it is very quiet and we didn’t have a lot of noise other than the roosters that woke us up in the mornings but they just wanted to make sure we didn’t sleep through the best part of the day, the sunrise .We saw a lot of Humpback Whales and their calf’s right out the window!

The property was perfect for our family. The views were amazing and it was centrally located. We saw turtles almost every day from the patio. The only downside was not getting the email or text prior to arrival with information to get into property but after two phone calls everything was fixed and we enjoyed the house and Maui.

Beautiful location! Fabulous views!

Enjoyed the location and fabulous view. House had everything we needed. Saw a whale while we were sitting in the patio! Sliding glass door was broken and waiting for parts to repair. Other than that I would definitely stay at this property again.

Excellent

Stayed for 7 nights in February. The perfect location for whale watching on the porch. Super quiet and a great place for families. Beach a little rocky but still fun for the kids and super close to other beaches. Would 100% stay again.

Great beachfront family home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was great for an adult family of 4 couples. The bathrooms were a little tight as there is only a master and 1 other full bathroom (1 half bathroom too). However, the beauty of the sunsets off the back patio and location to Lahaina were unbeatable. The management company was also great and checked in with us multiple times throughout our stay.

Family Fun 2023

The location and the view was great. This trip was for our Mom and she loved it. Especially with the ocean right there. There were only a couple of things that should be taken care of, if they weren't already. We had called and they contacted maintenance regarding the slider & outdoor fan. We couldn't use the slider to its full potential or the fan. Otherwise, we all had a great time. Thank you

70th birthday celebration

Comfortable, roomy unit. Each couple had their own bedroom. Common area was open and the telescoping doors were fantastic, extending the living space to the outdoors. Extremely close to the ocean with beautiful views of the water, whales, boats and surfers. Grounds and pools were very nice. Pickle ball court was excellent but fairly short hours $30 for small fitness center seemed a bit excessive given it was listed as an amenity. A beach access on the south end of the property would have been nice. Close access to Lahaina but narrow shoulders and no sidewalks made walking uncomfortable but a quick easy drive and free parking. Overall a fun, comfortable unit and location for a group of seven.

Family vacation

We arrived on Monday August 7. We lost power around 5am Tuesday morning and shortly after we lost cell service due to high winds from hurricane nearby. Fortunately one of our family received an emergency text alert on their phone around 4pm about the brush fire in the area. I contacted management first thing in the morning about the power and they said they were aware and monitoring the situation. I never heard from them again until I texted about the brush fire. Again they said they were aware. We evacuates the property around 5 and I texted them to inform them. I never received a reply back. No one reached out to ask about our safety. We lost 4 nights and they have never reached out to us. I have texted and left a voicemail message.

While the location is beautiful, this is NOT the house to rent (nor the Management Co to work with)

While the location is beautiful, this is NOT the house to rent. The management company (Whalers Investment Group dba Vacation-Maui.com) did a poor job and it really negatively impacted our vacation. With this EXPENSIVE rental, this is indefensible. Character limitation will shortcut our review... Our experience began as we walked in the door to see error light flashing on the dishwasher. Uh-oh. We are a 3 generation family of 8 (two toddlers) and we were without a dishwasher for roughly 4 days, adding HOURS of hand dish-washing each day. When we called the management company, they sent over a repairman the 2nd day, who was unable to fix it. The management company then told us that another repairman would not be there until Day 4 AND were told that WE would have to give up a complete afternoon of OUR time to wait through the 6 hour arrival window for this next repairman. They were unyielding on this and made no apologies to us whatsoever. This is the Management Company’s job and insisting that the paying guests resolve their operational issues is a huge red flag. (Perhaps we shouldn’t have been surprised to learn that before departing, the Management Company also required us to take out all of the trash, start a load of their laundry, shut down all electrical usage (including A/C) and be out by 10AM or be immediately charged a penalty $550 fee (we had to text them to tell them we were gone). Other significant operational issues included: >> **the primary door (the slider to the patio and beach) was almost unusable, requiring the grown men (leaning their full body weight) to open and close this primary door. (The only other door was to the carport on the parking lot side of the townhouse.) ***the air conditioning was inadequate in the primary living space as well as the third floor (temps were in the mid 80’s - low 90’s) >> **** the kitchen supplies were insufficient in terms of all drink-ware, pots and pans, kitchen utensils etc. We even had to purchase additional paper towels and toilet paper, and garbage bags ourselves to get through the week. >> *****the marketing materials (photos) are very MISLEADING as there is NO second family room, as shown in the photo images (it is just the prior decor of the exact same room) and the hammock, which was a huge draw for us, belongs to the next townhouse, not this house. *** Also issues w shower door, refrig drawer, toilet.... could go on...... DO NOT RECOMMEND @wrmci Whalers Investment Group

The house is as wonderful!. Only disappointed with lack of communication when the power company shut off electric for 24 hours. Was not contacted by host. I sent message asking if we’d get candles or flashlight and never got a response.

Best Vacation spot for families

Reviewer Comments: Our family of 6 spent Thanksgiving week here enjoying the ocean views and weather and attending the Maui Jim college basketball tournament. We cooked thanksgiving dinner at the condo and had what we needed with the exception of casserole type dishes. There also is a shortage of small/highball glasses. The location of the house worked great for us. Our only issue was that the air conditioning on the main floor was less than effective. I would suggest that renters make sure that it's fixed as it did get uncomfortable at times. We complained about it but the parts to fix it couldn't be found on the island at the time.

The AC was not working and the houses was why to hot. Loved the spot but the houses.

Over all it was a nice house just wish we would have been told about the AC.

The view brought tears to my eyes when we first arrived. Although we struggled to get the back door opened. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. The unit was easy to get to and the company we booked through was amazing in providing everything we needed to get checked in. There was a pack and play and a highchair in the unit. The upstairs bedrooms have limited closet space, and one had no closet, but we made it work. I would absolutely recommend this.

It’s like Tuscan Under the Sun meets Hawaii. A fresh coat of paint would help in addition to replacing window screens, some furniture etc. . Invest in lounge chairs as I was jealous of my neighbors who could enjoy morning coffee outside without having to sit at a table. Nice appliances.

The sunset view was incredible.Dealing with your management was confusing at best. We received the access code in an email and thought that was the allowance to go to our rental as we had done with the rental we just came from in Hawaii. There were instructions to check with the desk but that was below the codes. Our suggestion would be not to give out the house code until you register at the desk. We must not have been then only one to have done this since I received a call from your staff well after we checked out ( we texted we had checked out as instructed) saying there were people in our unit.Also we founded very intimidating to have your people come up and adjust the “no pass” sign as my wife and daughter sat near the beach. He then sat in the parking lot and watched. Also it would be nice to have better beach access (less rocks to the beach) where there was access
