Wonderful place in Ka'anapali

We loved this condo. Clean and tastefully updated with lots of thoughtful details like a well stocked kitchen that had everything we needed to cook a few meals at home, beach chairs, a small cooler, etc. Bed was comfortable with nice linens and towels. It was in a great location at MKV with a nice partial ocean view from the lanai. The two pools were lovely and it was nice to have a grassy area on the lawn where you could relax on loungers and jump in the pool or ocean steps away. We didn't need much, but the host was easy to reach via text the few times we did need to reach out. We would love to stay here again.

Roaches

Roaches all over the kitchen and downstairs bathroom. Couldn’t cook food as roaches were all in the drawers and cabinets (all over cooking utensils). There was even roaches in the dishwasher. Wife wanted to leave but couldn’t find another spot to go. Sense wife was unhappy, made for a not so fun stay. Had to eat out everyday (very costly). Property Management just wanted to come over and see. I would have thought they would have placed us somewhere else.

Excellent property, great stay

Stayed at the end of Oct. 2024 and it was fantastic. Property was clean and well appointed. The layout with the bed and half-bath upstairs works out nicely. Enjoyed the resort amenities - gym, used the grill, pool, beach towel exchange, and even played shuffle board. Water temp was 80-81F; love Maui.

The location is ideal, right at a very calm beach with great snorkeling, the unit is very well equipped and comfortable and has a lovely view of the sea.

Poor communication, nice location and layout

I had no warning nor follow up on multiple requests for communication about the air conditioning being broken. I walked into a boiling hot room with afternoon sun. I had to use box fans rotated throughout the day to keep it cool enough to sleep at night. The 2 of 3 vents by the front door were broken, limiting my ability to ventilate. The stopper on the front door didn’t work so I couldn’t get cool air in that way. The layout, kitchen, view and balcony were great. Just should have had a response or been given a discount for my stay.

Nice quiet condo

Great stay! Quiet area. Parking was extra charge but to be expected. Loved the bar for late night drink. Washer dryer in unit would have been perfect but had laundry nearby.

Great property

Great property, walking distance to the beach. Great pools. C ommunication is also great. The only downfall is the bed is uncomfortable and small. It’s advertised as a queen, but it’s more like a full size/double.

Convenient location and booking. Clean property but for whatever reason there is roaches inside the unit and outside on the property. We could hear rats moving in the ceiling. And the dryer did not work in the unit. There was a community laundry room available.

Pretty and very nicely decorated condo++, but expensive!!

Overal was good. WiFi not so good. Upstaris could be a little warm. Expected washer and dryer in the room. The added fees made the daily charge very expensive. More than $575.00 per day.

Loved the location

Close walk to the beach and the resort is very quiet. The beach has great snorkeling. The unit was very clean and check-in was easy. We would consider staying here again if we came back to Maui.

Amazing location

Nice condo. We had a nice ocean view from the balcony. Right near airplane beach which had the best snorkeling that we did. Beautiful clean beach with whales offshore. Kids enjoyed shuffleboard and the pools.

Quirky condo with great beach

This place worked fine for our family. It is quite dated and a little bit dirty which was a bit of a disappointment, but the location and lovely beach and pool made up for it. We had some lighting issues and the management team was super fast to reply and repair lights. The shower is tricky to use and the whole thing is coming off wall a bit, could use a little love and updating to make it perfect.

Maui Kaanapali Villa C253

Condo could use some updates. Shower faucet needs replacement as it was difficult to turn on and off. The patio furniture is old, kitchen counters are hard to keep clean. Check in process was rough. As other reviewers have stated, upon arrival the front desk could not find our reservation. The front desk said they have had problems with My Perfect Stay (property manager) not sending over the reservation info. They asked us to contact them, and we received no response. Ironically I had responded to an email from the property manager prior to arrival, asking them to make sure the late check in would be OK. The property manager did not respond to that email and a few calls we made during our stay. This location and other units in this resort are great.

6th stay at MKV but first at this unit. Beautiful sunsets, well appointed, felt very private. Appreciated the beach chairs, cooler and basic kitchen supplies. Good communication with MyPerfectStays. Loved it so much we extended our trip!

Beautiful property

This unit was perfect for us. Lanai was big enough for the four of us to comfortably enjoy the beautiful views. The unit was clean and updated. It was great having a full kitchen, inside washer/dryer, etc. We loved the location in relation to the pools and beachfront-just a few steps away and short, beautiful walk to black rock beach. The property is close to everything-Whalers Village, Napili Bay, Lahaina. We would definitely live to stay in C253 again!

Exactly what we were looking for.

We had an amazing time at this rental. With two different access points to my favorite beach on the island, plenty of space, central air and a washer-dryer in the unit, one and a half baths, a huge balcony with an ocean view, in the midst of a very calm and low-key resort, there really wasn't a lot not to like here. It was clean, comfortable, pleasant, and relaxing, it made it very easy for us to lie on the beach all day, and a short walk to the restaurants at the Westin Villas. We would (and will!) absolutely book this property again.
