We absolutely loved our stay! Very clean unit that had everything we needed. Parking was easy. There were fun daily activities on the property grounds. Great food within walking distance. Ocean views were wonderful, and we all enjoyed the pools and hot tubs. Would love to return for another stay.

Excellent time

Daughter’s wedding attended by family & childhood friends. Just loved the ease of walking around the property & catching up with everyone. Adults & young kids all had fun. We rented a bungalow for a bbq, so easy & great. Great location for those without a rental car. We will be back.

A week in paradise

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Papakea. The unit presents well, is easy to get in and out of, and located somewhat near many of the things we did on our trip. It's a bit of a trip up country, most everything else is within 20 minutes. Cool food truck park is a five minute walk away. Would stay again!

Beautiful resort, comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was well stocked. The grounds were beautiful and the views were amazing. We enjoyed the location because it’s not in the super busy hotel area but close to everything. Thank you for a great experience.

Condo was spotless. Big enough for the 6 of us. Well stocked with everything we needed. Great views of the ocean. Walking distance to shops/restaurants.The amenities at the condo were great. Only thing missing was martini glasses and shaker.. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Condo on Maui

This property was very nice. Any questions I had or if I wanted recommendations on different things everyone was always so helpful and responded so fast. We were very busy with different tours on the island when we were there, but when we did stay on the resort, there was plenty to do. Shuffle board, swimming pool, beach, snorkeling, hot tub, putting green. Great time, hopefully we will get back…

Wells stocked, fun and clean

This unit is lovely. It had plenty of cooking supplies, ample beach chairs and toys, cozy towels and overall was very welcoming, clean and lovely. We would love to stay here again if all things were working properly. And would not hesitate to book with my perfect stays again, as they were very helpful and accommodating towards us. However the AC did not work upon our arrival, and with October being a bit hotter, it being on the 4th floor and having full sun in the afternoon, it made it quite uncomfortable to sleep in and be in, even in the mornings. We had a three year old and he did not sleep well at all. What helped was having the lanai open and the front door open to get some respite in the cross breeze, but then we had to constantly follow our son around to make sure he didn’t walk out the front door, and we couldn’t sleep with it open. We notified the management company the first morning we were there, and they sent a repair person who could not repair it, and we heard nothing until I reached out again, at which point we were given a swamp cooler- which actually made the unit more humid and hot, but it was a solution of sorts which we were happy to try out. The management was helpful and apologetic, and of course we understand things break and the buildings are old, but it did put a damper on our stay. When your toddler can’t sleep- nobody can sleep. We moved units for the last two nights of our stay to a first floor, which was not clean and had nothing by way of amenities or kitchenware. My family has been staying at papakea since my mom was 16 in the 70s and it’s really hit or miss in terms of what supplies you’ll find in your room, what things will be updated, how well it’ll be cleaned and what issues you will have. Sadly many units need a lot of work and just have a little face lift. I think you have to sort of expect it to be a gamble regarding the above mentioned. If the AC is working in C405, it’s a comfortable and welcoming unit.

Maui vacation

We had a blast! View was wonderful! We love Papakea, the amenities and the grounds are top notch! The biggest plus this time was, they built some of the beach back up! We didn’t have to drive to a beach! It was GREAT!!! The one and only thing I could say, that was a little aggravating, was the air was on a 6 hour timer. It didn’t take long to cool back off though! Thanks for a great stay! Everything was WONDERFUL!

A few elements of the space feel dated. Some upgrades, like the kitchen are great. The a/c system needs step by step details/guidelines posted - took us a bit to realize the controler timer turned on all room units. We initially thought none of them worked.

Perfect vacation!

It was our 40th anniversary, so we decided to make it a family celebration. It was 2 weeks of pure bliss! So many activities on the island, and the resort waiting for us when we wanted to relax. Papakea was magnificent. The room was perfect for us, and the service was top notch. Owners got back to us immediately with any questions we had. Can’t recommend it highly enough, and we will most definitely be back!

Great Family Condo!

This condo was great! It fit our family of 8 very comfortably. The kitchen is well stocked and it's great to have laundry machine in the condo. My two youngest slept on the pull-out sofa and they said it was very comfy. Beautiful views of the ocean from the balcony. We could see whales while eating breakfast. :) This is an Ocean Front Property...not a beach front. Our only complaint is that we ran out of hot water everyday. Even after only a couple people took short showers, the hot water was gone. With that said, we managed and still really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend!

Family Stay at Papakea

Our family of 6 adults and 2 kids had a great stay at this Papakea condo. It was spacious, clean, modern, and well equipped with plenty of dishes, pots, and pans for those who like to eat in. The balcony had an amazing view that overlooked the pool and oceanside with palm trees and Molokai in the distance with amazing sunsets. The property was very well maintained and had a big pool and hot tub right by the ocean, as well as yard games, a putting green, and lots of lounge chairs on the grass by the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.

It was advertised and booked as a 3-bedroom. It was a 2-bedroom with a loft. The balcony has limited use because it has a huge air conditioner that spits out hot air contantly

Wonderful stay

The entire booking and check in process was great. The property was wonderful and the views were spectacular. We were welcomed with the very coveted double rainbow. The property was equipped with absolutely everything we needed and more! Everyone from 6 to 64 enjoyed it very much!
