Only problem was no AC or ventilation in bedrooms. Had to leave BR door open to get AC from the living room which meant late sleepers had to hear early risers.

Amazing

I have stayed in Papakea Resort twice now and it’s honestly the best. The grounds are well maintained, the units we’ve chosen are beautiful, the location is amazing for families, it’s quiet but just enough to keep you busy, everything you’ll need is basically a walk or run away and your favorites are a 10 minute drive. Whoever is putting off their trip due to the fires that occurred last year- you can visit the island without disruption. Just be respectful to the locals as it is still in the phases of the clean up process. Aside from that Maui is still my favorite place to visit when we can go and if you’re looking for a cozy place to call home for your stay choose this resort.

The best groundfloor unit at Papakea!

Papakea is a special place to our family and we've stayed in many units over 20+ years. This is the best groundfloor unit by far. The set-up is fantastic with two primary bedroom set-ups and plenty of comfy pull out couch sleeping space for the kiddos. The proximity to the pool, shuffleboard, beach stairs and seawall is perfect. We will be back! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

everything and more you could want from a condo in Maui.. just thought one thing i should point out is there is no ice maker and was only 1 ice tray when we stayed there.. if your group is adults who enjoy the occasional cocktail you need to buy ice but other than that no compalints

Group vacation

We went with another couple. 2 seperate master bedrooms with master bathrooms was perfect Very roomy living area to host dinners and relax on the lenai and grass area to enjoy watching the priceless sunsets. We can't wait to come back again! Thank you for sharing your paradise!!

Wonderful stay

We were totally happy with our 5-day stay at Papakea A101. How could you not love hearing the crashing waves just 30 feet from the patio? Being on the first floor was great - to walk out and relax with a view of paradise. The only complaint was that the air conditioner did not cool the bedrooms as we would have liked although it wasn't enough to lower our rating.

Best Trip Ever

We absolutely loved this place!!! I wouldn’t have traded it for a hotel stay for anything. Walked out of the patio onto the softest grass & just a few steps more to the ocean. It is also very close to the pool & hot tub. We had so many people ask us to share the link because it is a 2 bedroom with so much space & privacy. We played pickle-ball & the courts were very nice. We were walking distance to an amazing pizza place! We picked it up a couple nights & ate dinner on the patio while watching the sunset & listening to the waves. The grounds were immaculate at all times. They lit the tiki torches every night. I seriously can’t recommend this place enough….I hope to be back soon!

Beautiful location

We loved our place in Papakea. This was by far one of the best condos on the property, large, tons of light, next to the beach and the pool and on the ground floor. We have two small kids (8 and 4) so the ground floor and location were ideal. Staying with us was my mom as well and there was plenty of room for my husband and I, our two boys and my mom. It’s was an absolutely gorgeous place with amazing sunset views. We loved how the sliding doors could basically open up an entire side of the condo allowing the ocean breeze in. We had great communication with the property managers and they were very quick to answer if we had any questions or concerns. Overall 5 stars, we’d definitely come back!

Disappointed that the ice maker didn't work. Had to buy ice. From our standpoint, age in mid eighties, grab handle in shower would be appreciated for safety.

Great location, but place needs updating

The location of this unit is amazing with beautiful views and a very convenient unit for family and kids. However, the place is outdated and the owners should definitely give it a face lift. We had multiple friends stay in other units at the Papakea which were a lot more updated and modern and offered a much nicer, cozier setting. This unit, although big. feels almost like 2 separate places vs feeling like a cozy large 2 bed.

If you’re looking for a beautiful condo right on the beach to spend your vacation with no further. The accommodations were very cozy and the beds were very very comfortable. The view of the ocean just feet away is breathtaking. I would definitely stay here again
