We’ve stayed in this unit before, and rented again because it suits our family well. If you’re looking for renovated/updated, pristine paint, clean perfection, this is not for you. Would love to see more attention to upkeep in the unit, but if you’re looking for a comfortable place with all the things you need, this unit does the trick! The beds are new and great quality, wish the sheets were better quality (kept slipping off corners, not great material/feel, microfiber I think(?)). Had a bit of a scheduling issue at the end of our stay, but they made it right.

Quiet and convenient

Third time staying at the El Dorado over 30 years! And it still looks the same. Great beach and snorkeling and short walk to Whalers Village make this location ideal. Easy parking

Very quiet

The property was as described. The kitchen and second bathroom was slightly dated. The beds were comfortable and the unit was very quiet. We all slept so well. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach and it was walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was plenty spacious, and very clean. The only negative, it's a bit dated and the bed in the Master was so uncomfortable for us. Not a deal breaker, the walk to the beach is short and pleasant. The gym is clean and the front desk staff, very helpful. BEAUTIFUL VIEW FROM THE LANAI !! Shopping is very close.

Lovely condo with ocean view

My 2 sisters & I stayed here for a week. Beautiful condo that has amazing views of the property & ocean. Very close to the Whale pool & shuffleboard & bocci court. Quiet & peaceful. Loved the big lanai that stretched almost the entire condo. Beds were comfortable & we appreciated each having our own. Only complaint we had that we mentioned to the management company was the sliding doors leading from the living room to the lanai were hard to open and close. The front desk referred us to Daisy Cab who provided phenomenal service. There is a great free trolley you can take from the front of the property to Whalers Village & several of the surrounding hotels which we used on a regular basis. Everyone was very pleasant. There is no bar or restaurant on the premises, but plenty in the immediate area. We would definitely recommend this property.

Great location and amenities

We stayed at Maui Eldorado with our two adult children for 9 nights. While the unit was not updated (renovated) like many of the other options, it had the components that mattered most- it was clean, had comfy beds, all the household supplies, views, location, size, etc. The front desk staff have a bit of room for improvement- lost gym reservation (pandemic restrictions- ugh) and friendliness, but everyone has off days. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Relaxing lovely get away

Spacious, nice location, beautiful beach, really comfortable condo with a nice sized deck, open kitchen, large rooms and everything we needed. Short walk to many restaurants, a lovely golf course on the property and great walking/running path along the coast. Our only issue was that the main pool was a bit cloudy, but everything else was great.

Kaanapali King!

My wife and four kids (ages 15, 13, 9 and 9) stayed for 3 nights. Condo was great. Very comfortable-right next to the main pool and outdoor rec area. Could see whales from the condo's deck. 7-8 minute walk to the beach-loved having beach towels and chairs at the club's cabana. Also walked to the snorkeling area at the Sheraton (same distance). There are 5 or 6 grills...we hit Costco and the grocery store...had our meals and the condo and walked to the beach...barely used our car. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place for our family

Our family of 7 stayed here over the holidays and found the condo to be just perfect for our needs. It was clean, airy, bright and close to Kaanapali beach which was our goal. We used the barbecues and cooked a few meals in the kitchen so those were nice accommodations to have. The place was easy to keep clean since we had our own washer and dryer and everything that we needed was there for us to use like pitchers, bowls, plates, etc. We had a wonderful time!

Close to everything

The Outrigger El Dorado complex is in a great location and makes it easy to get to Lahaina, Kapalua, and other areas in West Maui. This particular unit is close to the reception desk, pool and barbecue and a short walk to the beach. The decks offer a nice view out to the ocean and are equipped with sun screens which really helps keep the unit cool when the sun is blazing. There are plenty of tables and chairs for dinning and relaxing and the kitchen is well equipped, if you like to make your own meals. Since it is an upper and corner unit, it is quiet and gets a good breeze in adddition to the view. It is a very comfortable base for enjoying all that Maui has to offer.

Kaanapali Dream Vacation

We had the best time staying here! Being out on the lanai listening to the birds & watching sunsets was so relaxing. The beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything. The condo was spacious. Nice stereo. Floating in the pool stargazing at night was magical. Beach Cabana with ride service was a bonus. Restaurants and shopping nearby was perfect, didn't miss renting a car, Uber worked great. We live on Oahu and have stayed a number of places on Maui, this was our favorite. The location is great, away from crowds on other side of Blackrock, but close enough to walk when you want to check out shops and restaurants. Kai (concierge) can arrange your activities, she's very friendly and knows the island well! We will definitely be back. There was a small kine issue with the a/c and water leaking from this unit to the unit below. We were interrupted two different times for inspection and a repair. We left for the day and it was fixed before we returned. The maintenance people were respectful. Would have been nice to not have this happen on vacation but it doesn't change our rating or our review. We would love to stay here again. Mahalo Nui Loa, Chrissy & Scott
