Excellent Condo! Fun in Maui!

The condo was very clean and well maintained. Great views of the ocean from our balcony; we ate several dinners on the balcony. Maui Resort Rentals, the company which manages the property was easy to contact and they quickly responded to all of our requests and questions during our stay. The Honua Kai Resort is right on the beach, has several excellent pools, snorkel equipment rentals, and a great general store. Overall, a superlative property.

Lovely but aging

The resort and the grounds are first class. On first appearance the condo was lovely. When you look deeper you can see that a refresh is needed. Couch and carpet are visually stained. Pull out bed mattress is well past it’s prime and the mattress is ripped. Bathtub did not have hot water when we arrived and the plug did not work. Showerhead was so dirty that the black mould came off on your hands when touched. Management company responded quickly to fix but I felt that these items should’ve been working when I arrived. They did not feel the same way and not so much as a sorry for the inconvenience. I will definitely come to Honua Kai again but not this suite or management company.

Maui stay with family of 4

Nice sized 2 bedroom condo with gorgeous views from the lanai. Quiet and clean and photos are as advertised. Staff at Maui Resort Rentals were lovely to deal with.

Fantastic!

We were beyond happy with this unit and property. The condo was spotless, the beach chairs and cooler were very handy and the kitchen included most everything we needed for storage containers, pots, pans, silverware and dishes. The grocery store across the street was so convenient. They even took care of our rental car reservation for us and our car was ready and waiting at the airport when we arrived. From reservation to checkout everything was fabulous!

Wedding in Paradise

My wife and I stayed in Konea 933 through Maui Resort Rentals. Our stay was amazing from the get-go. Check in was a breeze. Contact with the hotel and MRR was a breeze. They checked on us throughout our stay to make sure we had all we needed. Anytime we had a request for service they were prompt in bringing what we needed. The room was very clean . The view from the lanai was amazing!! It’s stressful enough planning a destination wedding, but not having to worry about our place I’d stay made it that much easier. Thank you Maui Resort Rentals and the Honua Kai Resort for making our wedding stay so amazing!!!

Just Perfect

Perfect location, perfect spot in the resort. Our views from the room were amazing. Very clean. Just a little note: it does come with Bose speakers but you have to call and then they deliver them to you.

Great family resort/condo to stay in Lahaina

Great family resort to stay at with kids. The condo was clean and had almost everything we needed but we made it work. Close to all the best beaches and my 5 year old had a blast at the swimming pool slide! I would recommend this place to others on family trips.

Amazing views and very clean condo!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here!!! The view of the ocean from the balcony was amazing! We saw whales in the morning while drinking our coffee more than once. The condo was super clean! The beds very very comfortable! We didn’t cook much while we were there, but the appliances were great. So nice that there were four beach chairs, a beach umbrella, a cooler, and kid beach toys in the condo that we used several times during our stay! Towel service was great. We didn’t use the pools, but they looked wonderful. The hot tub was great. Overall I would highly recommend this condo and would definitely stay here again!

Spacious unit for a family stay

Large living area with 'partial' ocean view. Great whale watching in winter months. Large bedrooms and bathrooms for big families. Kitchen open to living area but could use a few more dishes to handle large family meals. Maui Resort Rentals handled all of our questions promptly and courteously.

This condo was beautiful. Very spacious, nice view, well kept.

Condo was great. It would have been nice to have cleaning services included. I had sent an email to Maui Resort Rentals to get a cleaning service done mid week but did not hear back. There seems to have been a misunderstanding in regards to contact number for me. I realized when I got home that they had left a couple of messages at my home phone number to give us a welcome to the condo. The condo itself was beautiful however. We had one day where our cabanas were double booked but we were reimbursed for that. Despite some issues, we would definately stay in this condo again.

one of the cleanest properties we have ever rented. kudos to the cleaning staff. Honua Kai Konea building was amazing. the beautiful condo was perfect for our family. amenities are great and we enjoyed the pools. the beaches are nice and we saw some humpback whales and sea turtles from the beach. loved it!!!

Al and Jeni Driscoll are delightful owners who accommodated every request. We spent Thanksgiving at this beautiful condo and were able to host our family and friends who all live on the island. What a blessing to be able to stay in Konea 933! Great view and accommodations. We loved it!
