We have stayed in cono 924 before and loved it. This time we barely had hot water. Beautiful tub couldn't use it as there was not enough hot water to fill it for a bath. My husband and i had to shower 2 hours apart to a get hot shower. Just strange

Our unit was available and ready for early check-in. Every staff member we dealt with was pleasant, helpful, and accommodated us with any request.This was our third stay at the Konua Kai resort. The facility suits our needs perfectly. Our unit was clean and well stocked. The beach access, the pools, poolside refreshments service, the beach towel kiosks, and of course Duke's. Everything is designed to make a wonderful pampered stay. We will be back soon.

Great resort and Room

Great resort and room to stay in. We were there unfortunately for Lahaina fire and communication was not best. This is not resort specific though. Hawaii is not equipped to handle a disaster and has no adequate warning system.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely and relaxing stay here for our babymoon. Our dryer was broken but the managment said they could take our laundry at any time (although we didn’t need it). Parking underground gets filled up by 8pm, but there’s plenty of parking outside around the edge of the villa premises. Condo was super clean and appreciated the amenities and good communication. Mahalo!

Clean and beautiful!

Eating breakfast on the Lanai while watching the sunrise was spectacular! We had issued with the dryer but the property manager was more than accomodating with their laundry service. We had a wonderful time, and everything was convenient (including underground parking and the convenience store located in lobby) and everyone was so friendly! Definitely recommend! Pools were great for our family also, we were able to order Duke's poolside, while watching our kids enjoy their time and make friends with other children!

Great Property

Overall great property! Would definitely stay again, exactly as described and property is beautiful. One thing that was annoying was the parking, you are given a tag for the underground parking but there was never any spots available and we had to park away from the building and walk. Other than that we had an amazing stay!

Very clean, great kitchen

We had a great time at this property. My wife and I were very impressed with how clean everything was when we arrived (including the Lanai). All the kitchenware was very nice and had everything we could have wanted to cook meals or blend drinks. Hardly even noticed the construction - could only hear it if you were sitting on the Lanai in the afternoon but we were mostly at the pool beach anyways. Definitely would stay again and rent from this owner. The beach package was really nice too because the beach chairs and cooler were high quality.

Awesome place.

This was our family first time staying in Maui and this place was awesome. When we arrived on the island, we called and let me them we were checking on later than expected and they were able to accommodate us with no problems. The amenities of the washer, dryer, pools , beach access, and valet parking were great. We would stay here again. Mahalo!

Honua Kai-Konea 924

Overall, my family and I had a comfortable stay at this property. My kids did enjoy swimming in the pools and the use of the gym equipment. Several things did bother us though....first, there is construction of the new villas happening currently, thus any condo facing the mountain (although ours said partial ocean...it was basically Mountain View) - patio furniture were super dirty from the construction dust going on. It was also very noisy during the day from the construction. You can't sit and enjoy a meal or read a book without really wiping everything down every couple of hours. In addition, we noticed the interior building hallway floors did not look like it was vacuumed either daily or every other day especially for being a high traffic area. Lastly, underground parking was pretty bad if we came back anytime after 6. Several times, we had to park in the Honua Kai guest area because the Konea underground parking was filled. It's a bit of a walk from the Honua Kai building to the Konea building. Lastly, I believe this is listed as Oceanview or partial ocean view - it is a view of the ocean if you move your chair or stand up close to the outer edge of the patio. The general view of this unit is of the mountains straight ahead and the construction below.

Nice but ...

Everything. Was great but the a/c would not get below 75 at night for us.....we had 4 people in the property after a hot day I would like to be at 68 to 72. And this property was not the sunny side.. I had a similar unit for my mom went down. To a brisk 65 Would not stay here again...
