Wonderful stay in a beautiful place. Everything was well stocked in kitchen, plenty of blankets & pillows. Nice King size bed. Perfect location to enjoy view of garden & peek a boo ocean view. Room Set back for a quieter stay. I would say this is a perfect place if you have kids, lots of fun pools. & a quiet area pool for adults.

Wonderful stay

We had the best week in Konea 331. We were pleasantly surprised with how much of the ocean we could actually see! The condo was stocked with all the kitchen gadgets, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, laundry detergent, and the cooler and beach chairs were a great addition. The only thing I would say would be maybe one extra blanket for the pull out couch would be nice since the blanket included was very small and lightweight. Not a big deal in the long run. We will definitely be back and recommending to others!

Amazing stay

This property and resort were wonderful. The suite had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean and comfortable. The resort was amazing, right on the beach. The pool area had plenty of seating and multiple pools you could swim in. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this resort and suite.

Super location, great property

Would book this again in an instant. Great location. Looked exactly like the photos. Key pad code lock means you can leave all valuables behind when you go to the beach which is really nice. Easy beach towel exchange. Beach chairs in the condo. Nice beach onsite. Kitchen stocked thoughtfully so you can cook. All clean and new.

Relaxing

This unit is wonderful! I traveled with my husband and our toddler and we loved this location. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed in the kitchen, as well as a hall closet with great beach gear. We especially appreciated the foldable wagon that we could load up with everything for the beach and/or pool. We enjoyed the lanai and the lovely courtyard below us, as well as the views of the ocean just beyond the pools. The folding doors to the lanai were open frequently so we could enjoy the sweet Maui breeze. Maui Rental Properties, who manage the property, were lovely to work with and helped to make our stay perfect.

Amazing Property!

This condo was amazing. Th elocation was ideal to the resort grounds and very close to everything. The description states "peek-a-boo ocean views" but you could see the ocean clearly with a few palm trees in the way. But that added to the maui charm. Love this place.

Wonderful Location and Amenities

We loved our experience here! The room was wonderful and very clean, and it had all the appliances needed to cook in the kitchen. The view was amazing, and it was so nice that our room was in the building closer to the pools and restaurant. The only complaint I have is that I was told we would have early check in, and when we arrived I spoke to the attendant regarding this. He said my room was not ready yet but they would call me when it was. They never called, so we didn’t get into our room until after 5 pm, which was disappointing. Other than that, our stay was wonderful! Highly recommend!

Amazing Stay in September 2021

Nutshell: I absolutely loved staying here and highly recommend the resort, unit, and rental agency. I would stay at the resort or in this specific unit again in a heartbeat. I immediately felt at home here. What’s nearby that I can walk to? The beach is right there - see below - where you can get to a ton of other resorts on the Kaanapali Hwy. There are also food carts next door and a small shopping center including a few basic/dive restaurants and a basic well-priced grocery store. What about the pools? There are a few pools throughout the resort which are separated into two towers (H and K). The adult ‘quiet’ pool is near K which is what this unit overlooks. There are towels available which you will use your resort bracelet to obtain from a locker. How is the beach and is it nearby? Beach is lovely and key for the 630PM sunsets! ! It’s swimmable and just steps from the resort. There’s an official “beach walk” connecting resorts in this area (it’s a 1.5 mile’ish stretch one way). The entire sandy beach is also walkable and swimmable. The water is relatively calm to use boogie boards, snorkel, swimming, etc. Very soft sands and plenty of space to set up. The unit comes with 2 beach chairs, a cart, and a cooler. Snorkel rental place nearby within walking distance with daily or weekly rentals. What to do for meals? The unit has full kitchen with literally everything you’ll need to cook onsite, including oil, salt, and pepper. Fully stocked with equipment, including a coffee maker and even a Vitamix! I snagged my basics at Walmart upon arrival so I had enough snacks, breakfast, and basic lunch items. Does the unit have a lanai? Yes, full lanai with sliding doors that overlook the main grounds. The peek-a-boo ocean view is legit and more than the listing suggests! What about the kitchen and laundry? Yes, the rental agency provides all of the “soap and paper" for kitchen and laundry and shower. The recycling/trash room is next door to #331. How clean is the unit and the resort itself? Immaculate. I felt like nobody had stayed here in the unit before me. What about parking a rental car there? Parking pass upon check-in for underground parking which is super safe but small spots. And what’s the overall “personality” of the resort? Quiet and seems family oriented but also geared toward couples. Feels more like condo living than being at a resort. Only one restaurant onsite (Duke's).

Great Visit for Spring Break

My 2 children and I had a great visit at this Condo at Honui Kai! It was well appointed and very clean and neat. Ample space for my 2 children and I and had lovely views of the pools and ocean. The kitchen was well appointed as well. Love that you can walk to food-trucks for a lot of take-away food options and some stores. I would absolutely book this unit and stay at this resort again! We had a few issues/comments but overall the visit and unit was amazing! we arrived early and had gotten groceries, but they were strict (down to the minute) about checking in early. meaning we had to sit in our car with all of our luggage and groceries for 2 hours. I really though there could have been some flexibility or at least let us leave our luggage somewhere so we could have gotten out of the car. The ice maker and freezer broke while we were there and we lost all of our frozen food, but the prop manager came to fix it quickly. Stuff happens. oh well. I wish there was another set of dishes in the unit (there was only one set of 4), so we never used the dishwasher as we had to hand wash every time we used them. To get another set of sheets half-way through I called, but they forgot to include pillow cases. (no house cleaning or change of sheets due to COVID). Because the unit is booked through VRBO and not the hotel, you have to pay for this service when its' not COVID. Due to covid its really not possible to get into the restaurant without a reservation, but that's the case all over the island. In that there was only 1 restaurant and bar for the entire resort the lines were long to get a cocktail, much better to make your own.
