Amazing view, spacious unit, well equipped, and property manager was very responsive. Did have a handful of cockroaches which was need and kind of surprising for the 7th floor. The resort location was fantastic. The pool did not have nearly enough seating for the amount of people staying at the resort.

Our family loved the balcony view, it was the best! We were able to watch the whales spouting and breaching out of the water with our binoculars! The rooms were spacious, clean and plenty of towels to get us through the week. The beach area and access was great for snorkeling! Overall we had a wonderful time and would enjoy coming back!

Honua Kai

Everything was seamless, from checking in to accommodating any of our requests - very automated, easy and quick the way we like it. We were a group of 7 close friends, no one had any complaints which means success! The condo was clean, functioning, everything was advertised. We saw whales every day from the balcony, even had an amazing show on our first day when a family of them came up really close to give us a performance. We would return to the same spot.

Amazing views

This spacious rental was amazing. It was so fun too just open up the wall to the balcony every day and just watch the ocean. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful. A lot of people aren’t visiting like they used to because they think everything burned down in Lahaina, which is true, a lot of stuff did burn, but Still a lot available and plenty to do.

Amazing Location

We loved this property and would definitely rent this location again!! We really enjoyed the deck and the huge doors that opened, it was so beautiful. As soon as we walked into our condo, everybody’s face lit up with the amazing view! Can’t wait to get back to stay here again!!

Family time

Honua Kai was the perfect location for our family trip to Maui! We had 8 people ranging in ages from 18 to 72. The resort is beautiful and has so many amenities! We had the plenty of room to spread out and not feel like we were tripping over one another even with 8 adults! The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed to cook meals. Between the beach, many pools, and open green spaces there was something for everyone. Having a general store on property was very convenient when we realized we needed something. Guest services were amazingly quick to respond with any questions and needs we had. Our only complaint would be the in unit dryer. It took HOURS to dry small loads. With 8 people, we had a lot of laundry. Although the dryer was frustrating, we would absolutely stay there again! 10/10 recommend!

Overall the property, condo, location was ideal. Very frustrating for pool people since there are very few chairs with umbrellas. Early birds claimed chairs & rarely sat in them. The ‘no reserving’ only one hour rule was never enforced. Not sure why they can’t just add more umbrellas?

Overall would say stay was ok. The rooms were ok but the facility is lacking in pool size and area around is small for all the guests. All chairs being covered with towels by 10 AM. overall cleanliness is fair but not outstanding. For the price, it wasn't what we expected. Roomfine. Facilitynothing special.

Wonderful experience!

My family loved their stay. It was warm and welcoming. The place was huge and inviting. View fabulous. Only issue is swimming in the beach… so much coral couldn’t get in ocean.

Family Vacay

We loved our Honua Kai rental. The condo was spacious enough for six people and the amenities were top notch. The location was perfect given that we did not want to be in a busy area such as Lahaina, but could drive there for dinner and activities! Communication with Maui Resort Rental was timely and helpful, especially in using their concierge and guest services. This particular unit had a spectacular view of the ocean and resort. We also appreciated the kitchen supplies provided, including dish washing items and trash bags.

Place was perfect!!!

We could not have been happier. The view was amazing and the glass doors opened the entire width of the wall. We even could see the whales jumping out of the water from the room. Place was great and so were the people. We would highly recommend. Book it you will be happy.

What a view!

The location is great with good snorkeling just a five-minute walk. Pools are great, Duke’s is great (I recommend getting it to go and eating on the balcony). The system with the bracelets and the towels makes life easy. Maui Rentals are just an email away and super fast responses to any questions. We will most likely be back.
