The unit was just as pictured. Host was very responsive to all our questions and easy to communicate with. Bed was comfortable and unit was clean. The resort grounds are immaculately taken care of and the pool and hot tub areas were nearly perfect. Beach is just a few more steps away than the pool with Dukes restaurant in between. Honeymoon

We stayed here for our honeymoon. It was wonderful. The view of the lanai right when you walked in was breathtaking. The size of the suite was perfect for 2 people. The unit had what we needed for our stay from everything in the kitchen, bbq stuff and bathroom and laundry supplies. The beach chairs and coolers were a nice touch. The whole property itself is beautiful. The check in process was so easy. We loved being so close to the beach and the pool area was really nice. The Kaanapali area had so much to do. We can’t wait to hopefully come back in the future.

Happy Times

The resort was great with three pools for the kids to spend pats of the day. The restaurant onsite was also very welcoming and nice to have so close. The condo had a great view of the ocean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had most of the utensils you would need. The fridge door was a little tricky but overall a good experience.

Overall it was a great stay but I wasn't communicated about the construction of the building which was very disturbing until the last minute. Pro: - Location - Right on the beach - proximity to restaurants - Clear checkin / checkout process - parking included Cons: - Construction on the property - Condo needs lots of repairs (the shower door doesn't work, the coffee machine is in very bad shape etc...) - Sofa convertible bed is in very bad shape as well

Whale season...

Great condo...clean and updated...very comfortable. Was not aware of the painters, scaffolding and lifts in the yard, but we were there over the weekend when not working so we were good. Great place, price, bed, pool, store, etc....would recommend...looks like the painters have a ways to go...huge job.

Paradise! Peaceful, restful, home away from home

This place was perfect! So comfortable and convenient! It truly is a great place to call home for a week! Beach was awesome! And walk to the food truck area around the corner for some great meals! Definitely would return here again and again!

Almost Perfect

Beautiful place to stay. We would love to come back. The only issue we had was that the hot water ran out very quickly. We were not able to take a bath on the trip. The power went out the first morning. No fault of the owner at all but it was a bummer. Overall this condo was amazing

Wonderful!

My husband and I visited Maui for our 10 year anniversary in June and had a wonderful stay at Honua Kai Resort! The property is beautiful and we spent a lot of time on the beach- snorkeling right off the beach was great too! Our room was nice as well and the staff from Maui Resort Rentals was so accommodating. One day we noticed one of our beach chairs was broken, and they had one delivered to our room within the hour. Right out of the airport we stopped at the Costco and stocked up on snacks and liquor! There definitely were a lot of families at the resort with kids, but we didn’t mind because we have 3 of our own (they were at home for this trip though :) ) The ocean view from the balcony was beautiful! I also enjoyed walking and running on the small boardwalk/beach walk in the mornings. It’s nice because it goes past all the other resorts in Kaanapali… we walked right down to the Luau (Myths of Maui at the Royal Lahaina)! Overall, great experience and we definitely would come back!

Great studio and perfect space for two!

My husband and I just stayed here for our honeymoon. It is a perfect space for two with the full kitchen and large bathroom. Not to mention the balcony. It has an amazing ocean view where we whale watched every morning and night. Very clean space. Bed was super cozy and you could see the ocean from it! Check In was simple. We will definitely be back!
