We loved Hanua Kai-this was our first visit. Condo 147 is a lovely first floor unit with easy access to the lobby, gourmet market, green space and pool. It was perfect for 4 of us; the condo was very nicely appointed and had all the basics we needed, plus some nice extras for the beach, like chairs, pails, toys. The amenities provided lasted us exactly the 7 days we were there (coffee, shampoo/conditioner, soap, plenty of dish and laundry soap, toilet paper and paper towel). It was so nice to have laundry available in the condo and having gas grills on site was a real treat allowing us to have delicious, affordable meals at home...and outside! It was lots of fun meeting people at the grills, the pools and at Duke’s, which was a favorite place for us to enjoy a drink each day. The food and view at Dukes was also worth the price. Clay was our favorite waiter! We did not mind taking a credit card with us (as we were renting privately), and we also found the towel system on property to work just fine. We had plenty of storage space in the condo and it was generally well-equipped with utensils needed. One thing we might bring next time are spices we like...only thing in the condo is olive oil, salt and pepper. Other than that-fab! We also enjoyed the spa-Raju in particular was great!! In addition, having the shuttle was a cheap option to Lahaina while the 2mi walk to Whaler’s Village was refreshing. Though we will have to decide on our lovely private garden terrace or a higher ocean view next time, We will definitely come back!
