My wife and I spent 14 nights in this unit. The best attribute that we found was the view from the lanai, which was spectacular. The common areas of the Mahana are well maintained. We used the heated pool several times and the BBQ grills. We found the lanai deck was dirty, but we purchased a mop and cleaned that ourselves. The screen and glass slider tracks to the lanai were extremely corroded causing the screen and glass sliders to stick, and one screen often comes off as it needs adjustment. One picture on the website showed 2 lamps in the bedroom, however, there was one lamp when we arrived. The other lamp was in a closet without a shade. We purchased about 100 of housekeeping and home wares to make our 14 day stay more comfortable.

A really special location

They seem to make every effort to ensure guests’ comfort and pleasure. What a fantastic spot for a 2 week stay. We hope to be back next year for even longer.

Amazing view!

We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Maui. We spent so much nice family time sitting outside on the lanai, watching sunsets, looking at the stars, spotting sea turtles, watching surfers. A short walk down the boardwalk to snorkel everyday. it was real nice having a washer and dryer, beach chairs, and a cooler. Only thing that could be improved are a few basic kitchen essentials. Such as pot holders, salt/pepper, and enough dishwasher tablets to run a load each day. We loved the locations, and were really comfortable there.

This was a great waterfront condominium, with excellent views of the local turtles and many whales. The condominium was clean and we had no issues.

We love Maui and this condo

This was our second time staying at this condo. It is perfect for our family of four. Our young daughters are fine sleeping on the pullout sofa, and the condo is modern and recently renovated. The views of the ocean are amazing. The overall condo complex is well-maintained, and the pool area with BBQs is nice. Unfortunately, this stay coincided with the horrible fire in Lahaina, and we were without power or any way to communicate for several days. Fortunately, the lobby had a backup generator where we could charge our phones with the hope of getting a signal. We were very lucky not to be in direct harm's way of the fire. But the lack of power and communication, and the dwindling food supplies, forced us to leave the island two days after the fire. The people we met during the disaster were very nice and helpful. Everyone chipped in to make food on the BBQ for each other--especially those who had nothing. Our hearts are broken for the people of Lahaina who lost everything. We hope to return some day.

Good beachfront property

We had a great stay at this property. Steps from the beach. A couple of good places to eat within walking distance from the condo. Food truck court was one of those places and it was great. Grocery store within walking distance as well. Condo was clean and tastefully decorated. All the necessities were there except… only a half a tiny bottle of shampoo was left for us to use. No big deal really but it’s really he only thing I could not pick about really. I would stay here again. Good size for a couple but we had a teenage boy and one bathroom was inadequate for us at times.

Great trip!

The condo was awesome. Very clean and the view was amazing. My only negative comment would be the pull out bed was horrible. It definitely needs to be replaced. Everything else was great! Would definitely stay again.

Spectacular View

A well maintained, very clean and welcoming condo. Can't beat the location or views of the sunsets. Equipped with nice quality beach gear. Just a quick walk to the beach, to the food truck park (if that's your thing), and a small strip mall with a grocery store and Java Jazz (recommend you try). We had a fantastic stay on Maui, and it all began with this condo.

Absolutely wonderful week in paradise at the Mahana! Great condo with an amazing view! The location was within walking distance to several great restaurants and beaches! We loved our stay and plan to book at the Mahana again on our next visit!! Can’t wait!!!!!

Relation at its best

The room was as advertised or better. Very well upgraded and clean room. very comfortable adjustable bed.. omg loved it. Sunset Views and sounds of the ocean 24hrs…. can’t beat it. Location was perfect as well as the beach. Loved our 1 Mile early morning walks on the Beach. snorkelling rite in front of your room was excellent, whale and turtle watching rite off your Lani was amazing. Can’t say enough about this property. We searched for hours on where to stay and soooo glad we decided to stay here. You will not regret your choice.

Everything we wanted

Be advised

While the propert is in a great location, the construction going on was rediculous. So bad, our bedroom wall was vibrating not to mention the drilling and banging. At one point, plywood fell off the building and landed in in front of my husband at the pool. Again, nice location but the inaccurate communication regarding the level of construction going on made me wish we choose a different place to stay.

Stay at Mahana

The room was great as expected and the view sensational. The only down side was the construction in the room next door, above and below. It could have been an issue but most of the day we were not in the unit. In the evening it was was quiet except one night when something fell above or below which shook the entire condo and could even be felt through the floor. I have no idea what it was but is was heavy. The owner left a notebook regarding the condo and local area which was very much appreciated. I expect we will be back next year. We followed our week stay at our time sharing at the Marriott Ocean club at the Mahana.
