Our stay at Kuleana Resort was truly wonderful and exceeded our expectations. We especially enjoyed the beautiful pool and the well-kept BBQ area, which became a special gathering place each evening as guests came together to watch the sunset. There was such a warm, welcoming community feel—some evenings even included live music from fellow guests, which made the experience feel incredibly unique and memorable.We loved the easy access to the beach and the fantastic snorkeling right onsite. Seeing so many sea turtles along the shoreline was unforgettable, and being able to whale watch directly from our lanai—watching humpback whales breaching in the distance—was simply magical.The resort is perfectly located for exploring the island, making day trips convenient and stress-free. It’s also thoughtfully equipped for preparing meals at home, which added to the comfort and ease of our stay.We would happily return and highly recommend Kuleana Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway with a true sense of community.

Maui (Kuleana 408)

Friends called us and we ended up in this room on vacation this beautiful room with an ocean view. Nearby is the location of everything you need a swimming pool ocean, barbecue area and also a beautiful beach for snorkeling and just for swimming We are delighted. Thank you

Hope to stay again

Been coming to the Kuleana Resort for over 10yrs and this was our first opportunity to stay in this unit. Location was amazing and condo was super clean. Even got to rent their adjoining unit next door for my sisters’ family, so it couldn’t have worked out better. Would 1000% stay here again. Thanks for everything!

Birthday trip

The view was phenomenal. There is a beach 10 feet, if that, from the lanai and it is like a haven for sea turtles. The first morning I awoke and sat on the lanai I got to watch a whale and dolphins. What a beautiful sight and an amazing birthday trip for my perfect husband.

Waves, Surf and Peace

We loved the feeling of complete peace and quiet as you take in the vast ocean crashing before you. It is a beautiful oasis in West Maui with the best salt water Olympic sized pool on the west side. BBQs were right there and we enjoyed our morning walks to the Bad Ass Coffee Company.

Awesome place!

Very nice, clean, GORGEOUS place! We love staying at Kuleana and this condo was the best location- feet from the ocean and then the pool right behind. Lots of needed items in the kitchen and for the beach and pool available. Thank you for a great stay! Can’t wait to come back!

Love This Place-Kuleana #408

Truly a Paradise Found! Our favorite place on Maui is Kuleana unit #408 was outstanding. All the amenities you need for an inclusive stay. King bed, AC, ocean front, wave view from inside, and turtles directly below to view. We even saw whales this trip! This Resort is lovely and quiet. Full sized heated swimming pool and BBQ's right outside. We will come again!

Great Location

One of the best units in the complex. Ground floor close to everything. Turtles, beach,pool, and lots of whale watching made for a wonderful vacation. Will be returning for another visit. Thank you for the hospitality

Perfect location

Loved the location of this condo! Nothing better than sitting and watching whales go by. The turtle swimming in the beach just steps away from the back door was also a treat. Would book again.

Great piece of Maui

It was perfect. There was a beautiful pool, lovely landscaping, a quiet, friendly atmosphere. The condo had a great view and had what we needed for a comfortable stay.

Waterfront Paradise

We spent 10 wonderful and relaxing days at Kuleana Resort. The property is very well maintained with beautiful gardens, a large pool, and BBQs cleaned daily. The ocean view from the condo is absolutely breathtaking and you can hear the sound of the waves while relaxing in the living room. The condo had everything we needed, including plenty of towels, bedding and kitchen supplies. We really appreciated being able to borrow a cooler, chairs, and sun umbrella for full days at the beach. We saw turtles swimming in front of the property and especially enjoyed the evening sunsets and tiki torches lit all around the perimeter. Kathy is an excellent host. She provided very clear directions and check-in instructions, along with lots of tips on where to eat and shop. She also checked in on us to make sure we arrived ok, helped us try to locate a pair of “lost” sunglasses (which were later found) and allowed us to check out late to accommodate our flight schedule. Thank you Kathy and Jim for sharing your wonderful vacation home with us!

A little piece of heaven!!

The location is perfect, the beach is right out your doorstep. Even though I was there a short time, saw several rainbows, the grounds are immaculately maintained, so many stars at night, turtles in the waters, close to good restaurants. Edwin the property manager was extremely nice. I had a minor issue and the owner, Kathy, called me right away and resolved it immediately. Without a doubt I would stay there again!

Steps From The Ocean

The view pictures do not do it justice. By far the best unit in the complex. Next to the steps to the ocean, bbq grill and ocean. Unit has everything you would need and then some. It did get hot in the living room by night and it was challenging to cool down but the fans helped.

Perfect Maui Visit

This property was perfection! It could not have been in a more beautiful location. We adored the private beach and the condo's location opening right onto the lawn adjacent to the beach. We saw turtles every single day we were there! And the snorkeling was excellent. So many sea creatures! We also loved the west facing location for gorgeous sunsets at night. The condo had everything we needed for our family of four (two adults and two teens). We cooked and ate almost all of our evening meals on the lanai. I was grateful for the coolers, beach chairs, and beach towels that were provided. The cooler was handy for packing lunches and drinks for our adventures away from the condo. The check in process was easy and we were grateful for an early check in time. We will definitely return to Kuleana next time we are on Maui.
