Amazing location

We enjoyed our stay at the Ridge in Kapalua. Beautiful view of both sunrise and sunset from our lanai. Breathtaking view of the ocean and the condo was fairly well equipped.

A Week in Paradise

What a wonderful vacation home! Up until a couple of years ago, my family owned a condo at Papakea and I have grown up visiting Maui every year of my life. This was the first time I've stayed somewhere other than Papakea and I was delighted with our stay here. The views from the wrap-around lanai are absolutely spectacular, the condo itself is very tastefully decorated and well-appointed, and for a Kapalua beach bather like me, the location was incredible. The check-in process was smooth, property management was responsive, and I honestly have nothing but raving reviews for this experience! I'll be back :) Mahalo lui noa and aloooooha!

Amazing Stay!

I am not prone to hyperbole but this was one of the best stays we have ever had (and I usually joke about the classic "this is the best X I ever had" type posts). But we've stayed at numerous places through the years throughout various countries, and this was one of the best overall places we have ever stayed. The locale helped for sure, but the property itself was beautiful. Super clean, nicely furnished, huge with three full bathrooms, huge living area and beautiful terraces. Great covered parking right in front and amazing views every day of the ocean, surrounding hills and the world class golf course. The breeze we received every day with a small crack of the patio doors was truly to die for. With the comfortable beds and overall beauty of the environment coupled with that breeze, we slept like proverbial babies every night. Management was fantastic. Very responsive and very helpful. We are so happy we chose this property over some of the other high rises we looked at nearby. These are private villas reminiscent of what you would see on the side of some country side in Asia. Beautiful design, private yet everything in walking distance. Pool down a set of stairs. Beach a few minutes walking down a dedicated path as well as nearby hiking, a fantastic store with everything you could imagine including great food and several restaurants. The property is shared with a Ritz Carlton so you truly get the best of all worlds - you pay for a huge villa. Loved it!

Hawaii as imagined

We are pretty low-key in our communication and needs. We were just looking for something with easy access, good location, and great views. This place did not disappoint in any of these. The local beach was much less crowded than other options, and the views were magnificent. A well-stocked kitchen made cooking easy, the beds were nice, and the stay was overall a great experience.

Great Kapalua location

The house and view were lovely, the kitchen was well equipped and we really enjoyed our stay and vacation. The leak in the bathroom shower area was a minor inconvenience and the air conditioning was a little loud and took a little getting use to, but didn't really detract from our overall stay.

AMAZING VIEW

Kapalua Ridge is always an awesome place to stay, but this condo had the BEST view ever. They were completely stocked with all needed in kitchen etc. We will definitely go back to this condo next trip to Maui. It was spotless and beautiful. HIGHLY recommend this condo. You will not want to leave.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nicely appointed but unhealthy unit and terrible location. Was a basement unit, very musty with walk out lanai and noisy from above. Reported musty condition to Aloha and they wouldn't do anything. 3 of 4 were sick from the conditions, congestion and sore throats. Would never deal with Aloha again, KBM much better to deal with, better properties at better prices. Ended up trying to deal with must ourselves, applied carpet deodorizer, purchased damp kits which absorbed moisture and smells but still a problem. Visited several open houses in area and none were musty.Pics make this appear as an upper unit and no mention of being basement unit. Some lower units in the Ridge are ground floor which we have stayed in before but this is one of the few where you walk down to enter the unit, no sun and faces the predominant wind. We were only able to use the lanai a few times during our 22 night stay.

Wonderful Rental

This billa was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. Beautiful view, well stocked kitchen and management was very responsive to needs. Would definitely come back!! Even though we he weather wasn’t the best in Maui, we had a great place to hang out if we needed too.

Fantastic Condo

We had two separate master suites on opposite sides which gave an added level of privacy. Plus a 3rd bathroom, which was great. The condo had all the necessities to make our stay comfortable. The views were magnificent from the Lanai (there is one off the main living area and one of the bedrooms). The place was clean and welcoming, you can feel that it is a well loved home. I will be recommending to my family friends!

Avoid the Concierge at all Costs!

VERY unprofessional! We booked events through them and once payment was received, we heard nothing back. I have multiple unanswered emails asking about the villa we rented. I also had to call and email once we got to Maui because we had no idea of time or location of our events. We still only received a receipt for one of the events and ended up missing our sunset sail due to lack of communication. Then, the concierge refused to refund our money and pointed the blame at us. Her name was Maria. Avoid her like the plague. We spent a lot of money...still had a wonderful time, but she really made things unpleasant for us. We likely won't rent from Aloha Vacation again because of her.

Short walk to the beach. Landscaping is beautiful and always a beautiful walk. Lots of places to walk for morning and evening walks. Very quiet and peaceful.
