unbeatable location

This unit was steps from the beach with an unmatched view of Molokai and the Kapalua coast from the living room (downstairs) and bedroom (upstairs).

Magic

The property was beautifully appointed, steps from the beach with spectacular views. The villa was very clean and the 2 story layout was perfect for comfortably spreading out and feeling right at home. Watching the whales from the lanai and windows at all hours of the day was just magical. 10/10!

Views and whales for miles

The property is just as described - in an outstanding location just above Oneloa beach. The proximity of the Kapalua Coastal Trail just below is handy and we walked on it almost daily around the point to get full, unobstructed views of the sunsets. We didn't need an alarm, the sunrise woke us each day. The property was clean and well-appointed. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful & relaxing getaway with unreal views!

We absolutely loved our stay here at the villas. We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a remote, non-hotel, vacation vibe. The views the second you walk in truly do take your breath away. We had plans to drive around the island and go visit other beaches, but we found ourselves wanting to stay at our condo and enjoy the beach just steps below the villa! The villa had everything you needed in the kitchen to cook, which we did most nights and very thankful to have that. It was very well equipped with bath towels, beach chairs, beach towels, etc. I think the only real negative for us was the master bed was a bit uncomfortable and might need time for an upgrade or a good pad because it seems to be sinking in. We saw a few bugs, and foot traffic by the stairs near us, but we knew we were staying at the beach where there could be bugs and people walking by so that didn't really bother us! There's a lot of windows... which we loved! We are already starting to plan our next trip back to this villa because we believed it was the best one in the Bay Villas!

Anniversary trip

The security door code would not work when we arrived and the cellphone service was spotty so we couldn't call out. Had to drive around to find someone to help us make a call. There were about three sets of steps down to unit and no elevator for bringing luggage back and forth, groceries, etc. and had to park the car way up in a parking lot. Cellphone service terrible the whole time so hard to reach the shuttle when we needed a ride. The unit lacked amenities - condiments, basics like aluminum foil and saran wrap. Other high end units we've stayed in do nice touches like a bottle of wine in the refrigerator, etc. The view is definitely the best part.

Listening to the waves every night was delightful.Shuttle service was easy to use and very convenient. We enjoyed dinner at Taverna and would recommend it.Played the Bay Course twice and the vistas were amazing.Aloha Vacation Villas took care of our restaurant and golf course reservations before we arrived. We would certainly use them for our next trip and recommend them to others.

Loved this property - views were the biggest selling point for us. Only issue I had was the stairs - I have mobility issues and didn’t see any mention of stairs in photos or description. However we did love the villa - very comfortable.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location,the high point is the master bedroom upstairs. The downside is there is no ventilation in the condo, two windows, one in the kitchen and one in the upstairs bedroom. There are no screens on the doors so you had to keep them closed, great ocean breezes and no way to enjoy them. Condo could use some upgrading of equipment and furniture.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a wonderful condo...loved the location, the layout, the interior furnishings. Everything! Just wonderful vacation rental EXCEPT the coach roaches! They were crawling all over our feet on the patio at night...they were on the towels and in the shower in the lower bathroom, they were in the living room and even in the kitchen sink. We called maintenance the next morning and they were very responsive and sprayed that day while we were out. Of course, then we had dead coach roaches everywhere for several days (but better than live!). Maintenance mentioned that they only spray quarterly - obviously it should be done monthly. We had absolutely no complaints other than the coach roaches and would stay again in a higher floor unit with no bugs. Premium units are worth the extra dollars - some of the other units have paint peeling and we read review comments about inferior interior furniture. This unit had a wonderful interior, nice furniture, a great view and easy access to the beach and pool.

I do wish they would do something about the bed! it is VERY HARD and squeaks SO LOUD every time you move it squeaks so it really keeps you up at night when all you want to hear is the waves! For an expensive room I really think they should upgrade the quality of this bed because sleep is SO important when you are on vacation.

The only issue (a minor one at that) is that the Beach Access Path from the rest of the complex is directly adjacent to the unit so there is a steady flow of people coming and going to/from the beach below. Again, great unit and visit and will book it again if available.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I celebrated our 35th anniversary (without our six kiddos!) with a six night stay at this beautiful home in Kapalua. It was a splurge but worth it!Regarding the setting, there just isn't anything like it. The pictures are accurate and then some. It was rainy and a bit windy at times, but that did not dampen our spirits. We would eat breakfast in the upstairs bedroom sitting in the two comfy chairs, gazing out at whale spouts. (Don't miss the was even more spectaculer than the sunsets...) In the evenings, we'd sip wine on the lanai and enjoy the pies we picked up from Leodas.We thought that we would cook, and certainly could have in the well-stocked kitchen, but there were so many awesome restaurant choices.(Plantation House, Feast at Lele, Pineaplle Grill, Merrimans, and a trip over to Mamma's Fish House.)Regarding customer service, it was fine but I'd make a few suggestions, as we have stayed at other beautiful places. (It may be that this home is new to the rental market and there just getting organized...) With such a high-end property, having more than a one page check-in sheet would have been nice...though it was good summary. A binder that was more personalized and had suggestions would have been great...church services locally, Honolua Store hours, restaurants, maps of the Kapalua and Napili area, etc.) Guest books for folks to sign are neat too. (At a home in Princeville our family was greeted with a welcome text, a lovely flower arrangement and handwritten note...what a fun way to start an adventure!)Kapalua, and this home, were an amzing place to stay, particularly for a couple. We would come back here in a heartbeat!
