What a great condo!! This was a comfortable, well stocked unit and has great beds! We very much enjoyed this space! Good views and great location! I would definitely stay here again. There is no downstairs bath but a large kitchen and living room area, Beautiful unit!

Really great location!

Photographs on line were exactly as the condo appeared when we opened the door the first day. Really beautifully decorated and great view from the decks to the water and the surrounding lush property.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay and away from all the hype! Easy to get to all the Hype when you wanted it. Not far from Restaurants, mobile food stands courts. Found driving was easy to get to and out of the resort. The room was great for 4 of use and very quiet. The pool was also nice to be at since the beach now is very sparse. WIFI was great and everything we asked for was done very quickly and easily. Great maintenance department.

Excellent spot for a family

Stayed here a week between Xmas and New Years (2020 into 2021). The place was clean and ready early on the day we arrived. Everyone at the place was really nice, I guess the other guests were all in a similar situation to us. We went to the pool everyday and our kids enjoyed meeting other families from all over. The condo itself was clean, everything worked and we didn't need to bother with any additional help from the booking agency. We would happily stay here again. PS, the only change that we would make is some type of towel exchange, we were washing/drying towels constantly.

Beautiful property. Condo was nice and clean and well equipped. Would stay again. Only slight downside was the master bath was a little tight.

Beautiful location in Maui with protected cove and beach. Turtles found right off the beach. The complex is nicely landscaped and pool is in good shape. BBQ's are kept clean. The condo was clean upon arrival and average at best. The kitchen has the basics and nothing more. The microwave has been replaced and poorly installed (door rubs when trying to open it). Shelves in the refrigerator are cracked and the dishwasher door doesn't stay open and bottom drawer wont pull out completely. 1st floor AC units smells of mildew and is covered with black mold. Regularly found cockroaches in the kitchen and trash cabinet. One mouse on the floor. Mattresses were worn and not supportive. Overall the location is great and it could be a nice condo if the owners would invest a little money in the condo.

Kahana Sunset B9

Very pleasant stay in a well-situated unit. Gorgeous ocean and courtyard views from both private balconies. Furnishings, accessories etc. all good. Nice sense of community with the other visitors; elegant and remarkable evening sunset watching get-togethers, nightly. No complaints, whatsoever.

Great getaway

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay here. We prefer staying away from the resort areas and found Kahana Sunset to be a great location. It's a short drive south to Lahaina and Ka'anapali or north to Napili Bay and Honolua Bay. The high tide and strong current kept us out of the bay for most of our stay, but we did get to enjoy it once the swell died down near the end of our week. The grounds are kept up immaculately and the pool area is nice. We saw turtles swimming in the bay and whales breaching off in the distance. The unit itself was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the stocked items in the bathroom and kitchen. We enjoyed sitting on the lanais and taking in the view. We also took advantage of one of the offers through Xplorie. We did the whale watching excursion with Sea Maui. It was incredible! Highly recommend this property and would love to return in the future.

Beautiful place to stay in Maui

We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the unit and the two lanai’s! We couldn’t spend enough time just enjoying the view and waves crashing on the shore. Very quiet place with nice grounds and very respectful guests. Amazing stay, thank you! Just make sure you get spices and condiments if you plan on cooking.

Beautiful!!!

We stayed in B9 at Kahana Sunset and the condo was absolutely beautiful! While not technically "ocean front" it has a glorious view and the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep every night. The living area was very comfortable, the kitchen large and well-stocked and easy to work in, the lanais were both where we wanted to spend most of our "indoor time" - and did. The whole condo was very clean, cheerful and colorful, and our 5-year-old granddaughter loved it. All the staff were very pleasant. There is a kiddie pool as well as a regular one, which worked well for us. You can see sea turtles right off one of the eating/bbq areas. We had a marvelous time!

Fabulous

I can’t say enough good things about this company and my personal contact Leanna ... she has always been there for me whenever I had ANY questions or needs... because of Covid my plans changed 3 times and there she was along the way helping me cancel, move and finally rescheduled my trip... when I was finally able to return to Maui my chosen unit and my preferred resort was unavailable but she found me another unit in the complex that I was more than pleased with... further she was very accommodating when I needed a late check as my flight home was a very late departing red eye!!! Again thanks soooo much Leannna. I highly recommend dealing with her personally if going to Hawaii or Itrips in general!!!! Mahalo PS... nothing to do with Itrips but if thinking of going to the Kahana Sunset Redort on Maui be aware it is a family and group oriented place so it can get pretty noisy at times...

Outside great... Inside... Meh

We were upgraded at the last minute to an ocean view which was nice. We felt really good about all the outside amenities and cleanliness for the most part. However our room was pretty tired. If you're the type of person who enjoys dialed-in spaces then this is probably not the spot for you. If you can overlook the tiredness of the unit then this is a great spot. The ocean is right there and the pool and exterior spaces are great. Our unit just seemed to be on its last leg. Everything needed updating. The furniture was threadbare and the paint and tile we're all pretty rough. Some people that we met there love it and come back every year. I think it depends on the unit. Ours was A10.
