Clean, well-equipped, exactly as pictured. Wonderful layout for large groups. Close to shopping, restaurants, excursions and the gorgeous beaches that Kaanapali area has to offer. Full size laundry in the unit is a big plus. Host is easy to work with.

The penthouse was huge and great room for our family of 7. It was right on the ocean. Every moment we could see and hear the ocean from bedrooms, living room and kitchen. It was outstanding. The host allowed us to use brand new beach chairs and ,boogie boards . It was one of the best vacation spots our family has enjoyed. Thank you Cynthia

This is by far the best condo that we’ve ever rented. Great view, wonderful location and we loved eating almost every breakfast at Captain Jack’s Grill. It’s so close to shopping centers like Whalers Village, and grocery stores like Safeway. It’s great go back and support the Lahaina area after the devastating fire.Cindy is a wonderful host and kept us informed every step of the way on this trip.

We had 3 couples staying for the week. The penthouse was the perfect size for us. Each of us had our own room and bath. There were so many additional amenities that were included. Every morning when we had coffee on the balcony there were turtles and one morning we saw a shark and another morning a stingray. Captain Jack's is an added bonus with awesome seafood on the property. The sunsets are absolutely incredible from this location. Cindy was very accommodating when we couldn't figure out the AC but quickly got that programmed correctly. The parking is very convenient next to the elevator as one of our people had hip replacement surgery. The kitchen is WELL stocked with everything imaginable and some. There are plenty of beach toys, chairs, coolers, towels, snorkeling gear and much more available. The view of Lanai and Molokai is an added plus from the balcony and is so beautiful to wake up to. This condo will not disappoint.

We had a wonderful time at the condo! It was clean and in perfect condition. We had a great view overlooking the ocean. Turtles were swimming close to the shore and we even saw two stingrays by shore one day. We will definitely try to get back soon! Our host Cindy was great getting back to me whenever I had a question. She was a pleasure to deal with.

We had a wonderful stay at Sands of Kahana. The location is prime with a beautiful view. We saw so much sea life from the lanai including sea turtles, dolphins, and even some rays. Superb location for Sunsets. The grounds are well maintained and clean. We took advantage of the grills and found them in pristine shape. The pool and hot tub on site are a lot of fun and also well maintained. We enjoyed Captain Jack’s restaurant on a few occasions and would highly recommend the Baja Tacos. The beach is easy to access with mellow waves. We enjoyed snorkeling the reef and seeing several types of fish and turtles. There’s a well stocked rental shop located next to the pool where we rented kayaks and stand up paddle boards, and put out right on the beach. Centrally located, we were just minutes from shopping at Kaanapali or snorkeling at Honolua Bay.The condo itself is perfect and exceeded our expectations. Everything is well stocked with anything you could need in the kitchen, laundry, pantry, etc. The beds were all very comfortable and the condo stayed cool with AC. There’s a great closet filled with pool toys, snorkeling gear, chairs, coolers, wagons, board games, first aid kits, flash lights…they have literally thought of everything. Cindy was an amazing host. She went above and beyond to communicate with us throughout our stay. She has thought of everything you could need and we really felt like she cared that we had a great experience. We highly recommend staying here.

Every Room has a view!

This penthouse is beautiful, large, and well stocked. The rental process was easy. The grounds are well kept and The Sands of Kahana has a happy Aloha vibe where people enjoy the pool, restaurant, the grills, and the beach! We spent most of our time there out on the main spacious balcony enjoying the views of the rainbows, turtles, sunsets, and happy guests frolicking in the waters. Captain Jack's restaurant/bar was great and it's a huge asset to staying there. Next time we will rent the paddleboards but somehow we ran out of time!This condo is large with plenty of space to spread out. Each bedroom has a balcony with either a beach view or mountain view. The family enjoyed having their private spots. The only negative was the room upstairs and the main primary bedroom downstairs have slider walls that do not provide noise reduction. Those trying to sleep could hear everything going on in the main area. So we used the box fans and earplugs if we were in those areas and turned the tv down with closed captions on in the living area...but it would only be a problem if small children would need to have quiet while sleeping.We appreciated that the condo was well stocked with supplies. . The washer/dryer were super helpful and it was stocked with detergents/softener sheets as well. We were glad we brought our snorkel gear as the sets that were available but not reliable. We left our so maybe you'll get lucky but rentals are plentiful. You will love it here!

Paradise

There is no other word for it. The condo was amazing. Check in was easy, the elevators were great for getting luggage up and down. The view was breathtaking. Everything was clean, the amenities provided were great, and the AC was a lifesaver in the 85 degrees heat we had while we were there. Cynthia responded to questions and messages promptly. There was a book of instructions and places to visit that was invaluable. We ate at several of the places they listed and they were fabulous.

They Thought of Everything!

The condo was fantastic!! The view was amazing, you could see sea turtles in the mornings and evenings and the sunsets were breathtaking. We stayed for 8 nights and the first night we had dinner at Captain Jacks, the service was pretty good, the food was ok but definitely worth the convenience since we were exhausted from traveling and didn't have any groceries. The condo was so spacious and open while having separate and private sleeping areas. There were paddles for pickle ball and fins for snorkeling and a cooler for the pool. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything; from ziplock bags of various sizes, chip clips and well stocked seasonings. We used the grills in the common area one night and it was clean and ready for use. The beach was small but was not over crowded and the waters were calm. The restaurant scene was very diverse. Maui Brewing Company and Dukes Beach House were our favorite, between the menu options, the service, the delicious food and beautiful sunsets you can't go wrong. Aloha Plate and Mala was definitely over rated in our opinion. We truly enjoyed the Old Lahaina Luau and a Road to Hana tour through Travel Shack. We hope to go back and would definitely rent from Cindy again!

Perfect stay!

Beautiful, spacious, we'll appointed condo with everything you need for a wonderful stay! The view from the balcony was breathtaking! Perfect for whale watching and taking in the sunset. Clean unit and immaculate grounds. Can even snorkel with the sea turtles right off the beach. Would definitely love to return to thislovely piece of paradise!

Our Feb 25 Maui Trip

My family and I stayed at the Sands of Kahana for a couple weeks and had a great time. The location of the place is very convenient; close to Napili Beach and DT Flemings as well as places like Bad Ass Coffee and Java Jazz which we love. The view was fantastic as we watched the whales breach and turtles swim along the shoreline. The condo was spacious and had all the amenities. Beautifully put together and maintained by the owners.

Spacious and beautiful views

Our family of 4 and another family of 4 stayed in this condo. We had 3 teenage boys and a teenage girl. The place was spacious and had lots of room to spread out. The kitchen was stocked with appliances. We drank coffee on the patio and watched whales and turtles. We were pleasantly surprised that this location was a short walk to a surf break. Morning and evening surf sessions happened During the day we would explore other beaches and hikes. The location of the condo was a great for exploring the west side of Maui. We had such a great time and are sad to be heading back to rainy Seattle.

Wow. Very impressive. The condo was very clean and included everything you would needlots of beach towels, beach toys, cooler, a large closet full of fun. Kitchen very equipped.Coffee pods was a nice touch. Loved everything about this condo. The location was great. I highly recommend this unit. Very large and comfortable. Amazing views, great location, and wonderful host.

The property is exactly as shown in the online listing which is often not the case. Beautifully renovation and spacious accommodations. My brother stayed in another condo on the same property and was quite envious of where we were staying. The owners have thought of everything with many helpful suggestions, all manner of beach toys, etc. Very high end towels and more than you could ever use for the beach.The on-site restaurant, Captain Jack's was great and so convenient, yet you can walk or drive a short distance to so many more. The concierge was very helpful in planning several trips for us and each of them was first-rate.I've been staying at owner rentals for 30 years and this was among the best I've experienced. Would definitely recommend.
