She was amazing at communications and we appreciated the food left, the pool toys, and the extra blankets for the couch bed. The view is better than the pics, we saw tons of whales. It was a perfect place.

Our stay did not disappointed! This particular unit is located in a great spot, easy to get to the pools, and beach. the views are good, we saw whale water spouts from the Balcony, every day. We had a couple small issues that were handled quickly by the host, I appreciated the follow-up! Honua Kai will always be our favorite Maui property. Loved having the food trucks close by for Dinner. We'll be back for sure!

Family vacay

We loved the property for our 4 young grandchildren. The pools were perfect. Dukes was a great option for on site meals and drinks. The condo had everything we needed to eat in and relax.

Honua Kai

Our one-bedroom unit was very nice and had many useful things that within--especially the washer and dryer. There were also beach chairs that we used and some pool items that we did not but could come in handy for a guest.Very nice lanai with a good ocean view--advertised as partial but was a pretty full view from the lanai.Would recommend

Great location in Kaanapali

Location of the resort is on the North end of the Kaanapali beach walk, which is perfect. It's about half a mile North of Airport beach which has excellent beach snorkeling. Excellent location for a couple. I would not bring small children due to sharp corners on the coffee table in the main sitting area. My husband and I both were cut after bumping the corner. It would be dangerous for a toddler. Otherwise, lovely unit in a great development.

Perfect stay

We had a perfect week at Honua Kai. The unit is well equipped, and the lanai has an amazing view of the whales that migrate this time of the year. The property is well maintained and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this unit.

A relaxing vacation, celebrating our Anniversary

The 5th floor unit was clean & a pretty good side-view of the ocean. The bed was very comfortable. There were few ' extra' supplies provided, such as a very small shampoo sample, 2 rolls of toilet paper. The large patio was wonderful, but it was noisy a couple times below our unit since the drive to the public beach ends in the back of this building & the public beach is not too far from that side of the building .

Great Maui Location and Property

My wife and I recently stayed at this property at Honua Kai and we could not have been more happy with our choice. We looked at hundreds of properties and were very nervous. From the time we arrived until the time we left, it was truly exceptional. We had a few minor issues come up but the owner was in constant communication with us and had all issues addressed so quickly. Even though these were very minor, they were treated with the upmost priority. The unit itself could not have been any better. As soon as we entered the unit we knew we had made a great choice. The staff at the facility was great, informative, and made us feel welcome. The property was immaculate. The location was incredible and walking distance (we love to walk) to so many places and little "gems" like the food trucks, coffee shops, farmers market, and great beaches. What was funny is that the beach at the property ended up being one of our favorites. Snokeling was incredible as well. We ould recommend this property to anyone and can't thank our host enough!

Honua Kai Konea One Bedroom Condo with Resort Feel

We were very happy with our unit and the amenities on the property. Dukes restaurant provides poolside service. The condo is beautifully maintained and included what you need for a day at the beach. The resort is steps from the beach and the boardwalk. Underground parking is good but fills up quickly later in the day, but there is lots of outdoor parking available. . The host was very quick to respond and ensured we had a wonderful stay. It was a great experience and we would definitely stay there again.

Amazing stay!

We had a fantastic trip to the Honua Kai Resort and Spa. Highly recommend it for families with young kids. The kids pool and waterslide was definitely a highlight. The pools are all so awesome, lots of hot tubs and beautiful grounds right on the beach. The condo we were at was great! The view was amazing, could watch the sunset from our balcony, watched lots of whales surface in the morning. It had quick access to the pools and parkade. It was very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed.

We watched the whales from the Lanai!

Great condo was just as described. We loved coffee in the morning and sunset at nights on the lanai. The only suggestion I would make is to upgrade the tv to a Smart TV. Would definitely rent again!

Great Property, responsive property manager.

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 13, 10 year old children) had a great stay here. The property was as advertised on VRBO and Shirley was timely in helping us check in. It was our first stay at the Honua Kai and while they have staff to help you check in, it's definitely more condo feel than a full service hotel. Not a complaint but just something to temper expectations. We had a few minor issues come up and Shirley was great to work with maintenance to get it resolved quickly (the electronic door lock had problems). We opted for a mid-stay cleaning with her service and they did a great job resetting the unit to check-in ready. I recommend asking for extra shower towels before your stay begins especially if you have girls using the shower. There are 4 to start but the extras are nice and Shirley accommodated promptly. The pools are great and clean. Duke's is great for the view. Our favorite restaurants were Miso Phat sushi, Lineage, Star Noodle or Cafe O'Lei at the Mill House. I only gave a 4 star for cleanliness as the unit had most likely sat quite a while between check-out cleaning and our stay (there was a bit of dust built up as well as several flyers under the door that were dated back 8 weeks). Not an issue whatsoever but I like to give honest feedback.

Beautiful vacation resort

My husband and I experienced a wonderful vacation with a great kitchen, living space and awesome views!! Everyone at the resort was friendly and hospitable. Wonderful amenities! We give it our highest recommendation!!

Spacious 1 bedroom with a view in a great, family-friendly resort

We very much enjoyed our stay, the apartment was spacious, in a great location and had everything we needed for our short holiday. The resort has some lovely grounds, great facilities, lots of swimming pools, parking, a supermarket a walk away, and some fun places to eat only a few minutes walk. I would happily recommend staying here and hope to visit again.

Wonderful Unit

Highly recommend this unit. It had great views from the lanai. The unit had lots of storage space. Fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom had a bathtub, with a separate shower, double sinks. The bed was very comfortable. I am stickler for good pillows and sheets, it definitely delivered. There is a grocery store you can walk to. Beautiful beach.

5 Star Property, Host, Location

My family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honua Kai. The condo was lovely, clean, had a pretty ocean view with large balcony and included kitchen, beach and sleeping appointments that made our stay comfortable and easy. The host was extremely responsive, accommodating and professional. Check-in and check-out couldn’t have been easier with the host providing detailed instructions and the processes being simple. The grounds of the resort were beautiful with pools, spa, gym, market, Duke’s restaurant and an easy and quick walk to the beach. The staff of the resort were also very accommodating and friendly. My family and I look forward to booking with this host at Honua Kai again!
