The view was great. The condo was well appointed and very comfortable. The on-site property manager, Emmett was as helpful as he could be. The gas grills were great when the power was out for 24 hours over two days.

Condo was amazing. Small complex right on the beach. 3bed 3 bath, loved that !! We had the family plus grandkids so the beach and the pool were well used. The kitchen is well stocked for any meal you want to cook. We cooked a lot. Emmett was the property manager and was super quick when an issue arose. We would definitely stay here again.
Enjoy beautiful sunsets right from the lanai.

Kahana Condo

The property is great. Very clean awesome location and great condition. The only issue we had was with noise from the upstairs tenant. This building is not new and so it seems like when it was built there was no consideration given to noise abatement. The tenants upstairs were not doing anything outrageous just living normally but you could hear every footstep, chair movement and even snoring in the bedroom above us. If you rent this unit and there is anyway you can find out if someone will be staying in the unit above I would take a pass. Not sure if you can even get access to that kind of info. I try not to give less than 5.0 reviews but I thought future renters should know.

Great place in Maui!

We loved our stay here. We were two couples. The place was nicer than the online pictures showed. Everything seemed new and clean. The ocean view is spectacular and we found ourselves captivated by the whale activity, especially mornings and watching the sunset most evenings. We were impressed by the well-stocked kitchen amenities. Very nice to have abundant beach supplies, towels, sunscreen and other pleasant surprises. Also nice to have a dedicated parking space. The adjacent pool was nice and didn't have any issues with noise at night. Emmett was a really great communicator. The only minor issue was that we received two codes for the door. One worked but it was a little confusing at first. Definitely would stay here again and highly recommend.

Great stay in great unit

Our 3 generation family had a great stay in unit 3A1.It has been very nicely remodeled and is comfortable. It was clean when we arrived, and the property manager was very responsive before we got there and although we didn’t need during our stay, I was sure he would have been helpful is we had a problem. The other guests at the property were friendly and nice.

All around wonderful stay!

The unit itself was in a perfect location and couldn't have been cleaner and better equipped for our group of 7. The small beach was lovely, and the pool was very clean. Grills were available whenever we needed them, and parkign was super easy. Property manager was always quick to respond to our questions. We were close to the bustle of Whaler's Village to the south, but also near some quiet, amazing beaches just north toward Kapalua.

We Love This Place

This is an exceptional location. This small low-rise complex is a welcome change from the mega-resorts. This ocean facing unit has a perfect view of the ocean and is just steps from what is practically a private beach. Amazing whale sightings from shore throughout our stay. Unit was perfect for our seven guests.

Family vacation

Our family had an enjoyable visit to Maui, despite the daily rain. The condo location was good and we spent a lot of time on the large lanai whale watching. Bring your binoculars! The condo had a lot of amenities that worked well for our family of 7 adults. The best was a table that expanded to seat 8. The kitchen was well appointed but needed a thorough cleaning. The separate wine cooler was a nice touch. Two of the bedrooms were master suites but storage was tight. We had to remove items out of the closets so that we could hang our clothes. The unit has an outside storage unit that had lots of items to take to the beach (chairs, etc). The unheated pool was conveniently next to the unit. Two gas grills were there for everyone's use. The beach directly in front of the unit was small. A larger beach was a short walk away. Unfortunately the combination didn't allow long walks on the beach so we had to drive to Kaanapali Beach for that.

Family memories

There’s nothing like waking up to the ocean right in front of you! Morning coffee, lots of lanai time just enjoying the ocean view and sunsets. We saw turtles one morning at the beach next door. Unit had everything we needed for pool and beach days. Our hearts hurt for Maui. ❤️ Beautiful people and culture.

Another great time in Maui!

We loved our stay at the condo in Kahana! This was our third time on the island, but our first time staying on the west side. It was a great location and easy to get everywhere. We also loved all the restaurants and shopping close by. The condo was nicely updated and a beautiful location near a private beach. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay-the property is just as described and the access to the beach and the views are outstanding. It was nice to be in a smaller complex vs. large crowds. The condo was furnished with everything we needed plus more-access to all the beach equipment was a real plus. We enjoyed seeing LOTS of turtles right out front in the water.

Best place to stay in West Maui

This was our second time and it was even better than last time. Location is perfect for all island activities. Nearby parks, stores, and activities are at your fingertips. Best sunrises and sunsets! Great rock beach on one side and sand beach on the other.

Ideal base camp for a Maui adventure.

This is a great property. Very clean, well decorated, comfortable with pool and deck/lounge just outside your door and the ocean just steps away. The bbqs by the pool were nice for quick dinners for the family, with great family seating inside and on the patio. Perfect location right on the beach. The sunsets every night are amazing. The view from the living room is remarkable, combined with the sound of the waves… This is an ideal base camp for a Maui adventure.

Wonderful condo with perfect view

We had a wonderful time staying at the condo with our grown children and their spouses. We were able to spot whales and turtles from the deck and our son-in-law went snorkeling from the beach which was steps away. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was what I was looking for when I searched for a condo. I would definitely rent this condo again.

Maui Paradise

Excellent accommodations in a great location! Need a car if you plan to see the sites and travel to and from OGG. The property has everything if you want to relax, watch the whales, snorkel and watch the stars at night. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice vacation on Maui!

5 Star Quality Condo, Best location

Our family has stayed in this condo several times but this was our first time since updated. The entire unit is done very well to suit a family's needs. VRBO describes this condo first with three king beds but upon closer look and arrival, it is two kings and one queen and a sleeper sofa. The rooms description does state 1 queen in 3rd bdrm. Wasn't an issue for us but wording needs correcting. Actually, our two grandchildren loved relaxing in the 1st master suite king bed. They said it was just too comfy! Needless to say, you just can't beat the view while sitting on the lanai watching whales, turtles and the hawaiian monk seal coming by daily. We were fortunate with good weather seeing unique sunsets right from the lanai. The condo decor, furnishings, cookware, washer/dryer and supplies were great. The split AC units were a plus, very efficient and quiet. Then if you chose not to use them, there was a pleasant breeze going through the unit. The grounds are well maintained with good care given daily to the yard, pool and bbq pits. Ever since Covid, it is still hard to get into some restaurants so just grill and enjoy eating in the condo. Your own beach is right in front of you but if you want to enjoy more snorkeling and activities, go to Honolua bay, Black Rock and Kapalua. If we are fortunate enough to plan another stay in Maui, this rental will be first on our list. (I have personally met the owners and they are exceptionally nice folk!) Management Co. is good too.

Great West Maui location - perfect for family

Perfect location. Loved sitting on the deck watching the turtles and whales. Short drive to great restaurants and activities. But away from the crowded resorts. Loved morning walks and local stores and restaurants. Highly recommend.
