  • Polynesian shores is a beautiful, recently renovated (2020) oceanfront resort on the charming, rocky shore of Honokowai, Maui, just 6 miles north of Lahaina- town. Enjoy swaying palms, fragrant plumeria trees, the calming sound of waves breaking against the shoreline, spectacular nightly sunsets, and unsurpassed ocean views of Molokai, Lanai, and Pailolo Channel. Observe sea turtles swimming close to shore in the warm shallow saltwater, and in the winter months, majestic kohola or humpback whales playfully surface, tail slap, or blow spouts in the air. Our spacious, lush grounds/complex are ideal for your vacation. Pamper yourself at our oceanfront swimming pool and spa. Picnic tables and barbecues are available for use and located on the water's edge. Investigate the seasonal beach or walk to local bars, restaurants, and stores within our complex; surfing and golfing are nearby. There is even a farmer’s market three days a week and on-site free parking and laundry. Condo 213 is a family friendly, no-pets, smoke/vape free unit with a direct oceanfront location and an unobstructed ocean view. In addition to our recent resort renovation, condo 213 offers new windows, doors, floors, staircase, and new tropical-themed living room furniture, along with other new amenities. In the condo, the louvered windows allow the cool natural ocean breezes (known as trade winds) to lull you to sleep and the ceiling and floor fans maintain cooling airflow during the hotter seasons. Fun family vacation

We had a lovely time—plenty to do, lots to see, time to relax looking over the ocean at whales and turtles and sunsets. Perfect home base—would definitely recommend staying here!

Stunning, quiet ocean front complex

Beautiful, spotless, ocean front complex. Well maintain propriety grounds and a gorgeous pool. It was difficult keeping our youngest kids quiet with all the doors and windows open (no AC in this unit). It was a very quiet and intimate complex which I much preferred over our stay in busy and loud Kīhei, but I would have been much more relaxed with my kids there. Definitely recommend this condo!

Our condo was perfect for my family of four. Location was convenient with public beaches close but little need since we had a wonderful pool!

me and my family come from Austin Tx, and we LOVED the place, it felt like home, great view!! Great environment, you could go down to the ocean and just take in the amazing fresh air ! Overall, our stay was 10/10 !

Paradise

This is a very comfortable and well appointed condo in a great location on west Maui. We enjoyed amazing whale sightings and sunsets everyday right from the lanai. Everything was as a advertised and the owners and caretakers provided great communication.

Wonderful vacation spot

Our winter stay was amazing at this comfortable and well outfitted condo. We watched whales from the lanai every morning and have seen lots of green turtles at the beach by the complex. Beautiful snorkeling at the Napili beach and perfect Kaanapali beach are within very short drive. Thank you, it was a wonderful stay!

Awesome stay

This is the place to stay if you want to relax without the big resort crowd. Very nice clean place has everything you need, great. ocean few, quite peaceful. Great friendly tenants that live there all year round. Definitely recommended

Paradise vacation

This was an amazing place! Great views, friendly people, turtles at the beach below, water aerobics at 8am, amazing sunsets, and I could go on and on. We loved our accommodations. We hope to return someday. Thank you! It was a dream come true.

Wonderful host and property

Due to recent flight cancellations with Southwest we had to very last minute change the dates of our stay. This host was amazing and incredibly accommodating. The property is in a great location, clean, and perfect for our family vacation. I highly recommend!

Perfect condo for our vacation

We couldn't have selected a better place to stay. Beautiful ocean sunsets, fun, friendly atmosphere, clean and outfitted with everything you could need from beach gear to snorkeling equipment. Great sea turtle viewing from property and waters surrounding it. minutes from Kaanapali and Lahaina towns for fun shopping, dining and wonderful beaches. Will come back for sure.

Clean. Great location. Beach gear in home which was wonderful option to have. Plenty of towels. View was spectacular! Our favorite part. Turtles often seen by the rocks.

We loved the our stay. The condo had a great ocean view. It was fully stocked and clean. There was no AC but we were comfortable with temps in the high to mid 70s with open doors windows and house fans. The beds were very comfortable. The shower was nice off the master bedroom. The grounds were beautiful. Nice pool and spa.

Absolutely awesome!

We loved this condo at Polynesian Shores. Well stocked with all sorts of beach equipment, bbq and kitchen supplies. The grounds are beautiful and it’s so peaceful here. The folks who run and look after the condo are incredibly helpful & super accommodating. Absolutely breathtaking views from the lanai, especially with the whales playing in the background. Mahalo plenty for letting us enjoy your slice of paradise.

What an amazing beautiful property with the best view of the ocean! Everything you need is in this condo, from utensils to beach chairs to towels etc… my husband and our 3 kids loved it here! We felt safe and were grateful for such wonderful hosts! The condo has a bedroom downstairs with 2 twin beds, the king bed is upstairs! There’s two bathrooms and it’s stocked up with all the essentials which we appreciated so much! One of the best views ever!

Maui Paradise

What a beautiful vacation. The amenities were unexplainable. We spent the week watching humpback whales, snorkeling, hiking, many other close by excursions. Grocery stores close by many restaurants and so much to do we truly appreciated the unexplainable views from the property. We got to see multiple sea turtles, schools of dolphins and herds of humpback whale. What a memorable experience. Mahalo!!!!

Nice condo

Was a very nice condo Stairs are a little hard with luggage Especially if in the master upstairs Wouldn’t suggest for anyone who has issues with stairs since the unit is on the second floor. Was nice, even without having AC Pool area was very relaxing and the ocean view is beautiful especially at sunset.

Wonderful stay!

Our six family members aged 13-66 loved our nine night stay at this property. Sitting on the lanai watching the tropical birds, whales, and waves was a highlight for us. Lovely and well kept grounds, pool and bbq areas. The unit was clean, well equipped and comfortable. We had an issue with a leak under the sink and it was resolved quickly and efficiently, much appreciated! Overall we would certainly recommend this unit and building. Mahalo!

Bestest Ever

We walked in and was pleasantly surprised. Beds were so comfy, shower nice and strong, lots of closet hangers and space too. The kitchen even had a blender which we put to great use! View was spectacular. I kept waiting for something wrong to surface but nothing at all went wrong. Best of all was all the beach stuff! There were beach chairs and snorkel equipment again, we put to great use. Thank you we will be back in 11 months!!!

Million dollar view

Wonderful condo in an amazing location! The grounds are impeccably kept and the oceanfront view along with the pool is perfect! Condo had everything we needed. I was concerned about the lack of air conditioning but the breezes thru the condo are wonderful. The place was cool and comfortable even in the July heat. Plenty of fans too. I would highly recommend this condo for a family of four We had our adult children with us and everyone loved this place. We will be back if travels take us here again!! Mahalo!! ☀️

Home away from home

Cozy complex with wonderful views. Elaine and Rocco were always a step ahead with check-in/codes/address/check-out instructions. Well stocked kitchen implements/pots/pans. Also, beach chairs, coolers, boogie board, etc. Comfortable beds and pillows. Spent most time out on balcony! Morning runs going north on the road was busy with other runners and walkers, and cars but fun all the same. Banana bread stand 1.25 miles north on Saturdays 9am only. Fun beach for nearby sunset hang out .25 miles north - watch surfers and sea turtles. Don't miss this non- resort gem!
