  • This beautifully appointed 3-bedroom, 2-bath oceanfront unit on Puamana’s “Gold Coast” remains a peaceful retreat amidst the recovery efforts following the Lahaina fire. Located in a tropical oasis at the south end of Lahaina, this luxurious townhome offers the best of Maui’s natural beauty and comfort.

    Despite the challenges faced by the area, this oceanfront vacation home continues to shine with its upscale amenities and immaculate condition. The home features elegant travertine floors, granite countertops, top-end cabinetry, central air conditioning, skylights, and comfortable tropical décor. Professionally cleaned after the fire, it offers a fresh, welcoming environment for you to relax and create lasting memories while surrounded by the ocean's soothing sound.

    Unfortunately, the historic clubhouse and some amenities were lost to the fire. Despite this, Puamana still offers a truly unique island experience and the perfect place to unwind and relax. A complete renovation of the spectacular Ocean Pool was completed in October 2025, offering guests a one-of-a-kind setting right at the water’s edge with breathtaking views of the Pacific. The Dolphin Pool is also open and available for use.

We had an amazing week! The condo was great! They view and location is unbeatable! We have been to Maui three other times and always stayed At Kaanapali Beach. This was 1000% better! Quiet, relaxing, easy access to the beach… and just a short drive to the restaurants and crowds. We are already planning the next trip!

Puamana is Perfect

Puamana, and this residence, is the absolute best place to stay on the Western side of Maui. We loved every minute of our stay. The pools were great, the grounds perfectly maintained, and the proximity to the on-property beach was incredible. We would absolutely stay here again!

Enjoyable Stay

Our family had a wonderful time in Maui. We really enjoyed having breakfast outdoors while taking in the ocean view! The house was well-stocked, clean sheets and towels. The host was responsive to messages. We recommend this place, great location.

All checked out, thanks! What a wonderful little getaway; the home and kitchen was fully stocked, central location, AC, ocean view...nothing not to love. Booking process was seamless, and host is responsive. Recommend. :)

Great location and property

We visited as a family and had an amazing time, the location right on the beach was lovely and the property was very close to many other excellent beaches. We ate in most days but there are a number of wonderful restaurants very close by. We also played a lot of tennis on property and took many walks throughout the neighborhood. Overall an amazing experience and we will definitely be back!!

Lovely place

This is a pretty epic location. Sunsets are amazing every night. Steps away from the beach. For those that surf there is a surf break within walking distance. Great place for a family to stay!

Family vaca

We had an awesome 5 day vacation on Maui. This home was perfect. Comfortable, clean, convenient and quiet. Coffee on the lanai each morning was un paralleled. I thought I would miss not having a TV in the living room but who needs TV with a few like this.

Beautiful time in Maui

Relaxing visit to Maui. Two couples fit comfortably and we had plenty of space. The hall bathroom was used by one couple and the other had the master bath so it worked out well. My only complaint was the unit next door has an extremely bright and sensitive motion sensor and when we would go out at night to look at the stars, the darn light would pop on! Really enjoyed the property, the location and the views! Look forward to coming back every year!

Reviewer Comments: This was a perfect location and rental for our family group with lots of amenities close by--lawn for kids to plan on, beach surfing, and swimming out front, pool only a short walk away, and a good jumping off point for exploring Lahaina, nearby beaches, the north end off the island, and other sights. APVR staff members were pleasant, communicative, and responded quickly to questions, which made the rental process go smoothly.

This place was exactly what I expected and my family loved it here. We’re very tired of misleading looking rental homes, but we were not disappointed. We loved having the lanai with a direct view and easy access to the ocean. The ac worked great even though we also loved turning off the air and opening the wide sliding doors. Would be more than happy to stay here again.

A lovely Maui home

Given Maui is still recovering from the fires, this was a lovely home, right on the beach and close to shopping and restaurants that are open. My only note is that the Quiet Pool in the community is closed for renovation, so the website needs to be updated. I did tell the owner’s marketing team. In addition, we were unable to use the oven be/c after preheating to the desired temp it wouldn’t open for us (although maybe that was user error?) I also told the owner so hopefully that will get looked at. We weren’t there long enough for it to matter so it was fine. Other than those two things, our stay was sublime and enjoyable.

Fabulous Trip to Maui

Waking up to the view and sound of the surf is worth every penny we spent to have the ocean view! We all enjoyed sipping coffee and cocktails on the lanai and watching the ocean (and visiting chickens). An added bonus is being able to walk into Lahaina for shopping and shaved ice! The owner has provided everything you need for a stay, including beach towels, chairs and umbrellas which we used every day! One suggestion for improving the guest experience would be to boost the wifi signal on the lanai. If we had been working remotely, that is where we would want to work! We highly recommend this unit and would love to come back in the future!

Saturday Check-in

The property was fine, decently maintained and clean. The only complaint we really have is that if Saturday is going to be the check-in date for many of us, there should be someone on site to assist those of us arriving on that day. No one in the office to give us our passwords to the front gate let alone our house key lock. If it wasn't for a maintenance person we would have waited even longer than we did. When we arrived there were three other groups hanging around the clubhouse unable to access their units as well.

We had some plumbing issues that forced a move to another unit but APVR was helpful in finding a comparable unit for one night. We moved back to this unit the next day and its close to the beach, good kitchen and amazing views. Be ready for a cockroach or 2... your on an island and bugs are a way of life. The unit was clean, well kept and perfect for our family. The internet was a little week beyond the bedrooms but we managed as we were working from the unit during the week. The beach is steps from the patio and surf, body surf waves are plentiful at low tide. Puamana was quiet.
