Fantastic stay! Best choice in Laguna.

This is my third time renting this property, and it it my "go to" property for a Southern CA visit. Look no futher!If you like to see and hear waves, this is it! Stunning location, and comfortably appointed. (I love all the blankets, beach towels, and other thoughtful touches.)The peacefulness of the beach (free of tourists and crowds) makes it worth every penny. Quiet, enjoyable, and soothing.I greatly appreciate that there were no heavily-scented products.Best choice in Laguna, look no further!Host highly responsive, super accomodating. This is my first and only choice. I won't stay anywhere else.

Perfect private beach

The location is spectacular, The deck and the living room are very comfortable with spectacular views of the water and the rocks. Everything you need to cook with is there in duplicate and triplicate. The second bed upstairs is a bit odd, and I was glad I brought my own sheets. Renters can be pretty thoughtless but Michael was responsive to every thing that needed to be fixed. Loved this place.

A+ Experience, phenomenal and worth every penny!

I cannot say enough good things about my wonderful experience with this property. Prior to booking, I researched every beachfront option in the Laguna area, from luxury hotels to vacation rentals. I decided on this rental and upon arriving and seeing it in person I was so glad I chose this property! It was everything I hoped for and BEYOND. I feel that the property is even nicer than the photos (some of the beauty is so breathtaking that you have to be there in person to fully appreciate it). This location is on a quiet cove where you can peacefully enjoy the sound of the waves without crowds, it's just you and maybe the occasional local going for a beach stroll. If you want quiet, peaceful, and ocean ocean ocean, this is your place. I recommend that you do what I did and just have food delivered because you won't even want to leave the property (and why would you, right on the water like this?). Host was incredibly accommodating, super responsive, and went above and beyond for me when I had some special needs. Residence had everything I needed for a comfortable stay including thoughtful touches like a very comfortable couch with a blanket for TV time. I am already looking at my calendar to see when I'd like to rebook. This will be my first choice vacation property, period. You can see and hear the ocean from every room. Look for dolphins and sea lions frolicking outside your windows. Pure bliss.

Great Beachfront Location

Comfortable house with great views on a fabulous beach. Items for improvement: some window blinds inoperable, worn out outdoor furniture, upstairs shower door in need of repair and blender is broken. Small items that did not ruin our trip. Please fix these items and we will return.

Great Place Beautiful Beach Perfect Waves

The location and quiet privacy of this beach house is great. We loved our stay here! It was just 2 adults and our 7 year old. We all brought our wet suits and just swam in the waves and sat on the deck all day playing games and reading. Our car broke down at the beginning of our trip and with the free trolly and stop just across the street we were able to get into town easily. The house is perfect for a sandy vacation. There are a few small things that could make it perfect but they are small. The towel bar kept falling off in the bathroom (it was not secured on all the way). We spent an hour one morning picking up trash that had accumulated at the bottom of the beach stairs (it could have washed in from the ocean) but we want this beach to stay clean because it is one of the most beautiful in Laguna. The deck chairs have fabric and foam cushions which get soaked each night with the moisture in the air. We brought our own fold up chairs to use on the deck which we put inside each night. With all the drought in California it felt bad using so much water to clean off the sand before we went inside the house. We solved this problem by using a large plastic storage bin we had in the car. We filled it once and then stepped in it each time before going inside the house. These are small little things that should not distract from the great place that this is. Just really suggestions to make a great stay even more perfect. Next time we visit this beach house we will get dropped off by Uber, have food delivered from the grocery and never leave. Oh there are also 2 really great restaurants within walking distance. Food was delicious at both and atmosphere was great!

On the Beach

The property was amazing. Literally on the beach and mostly private. Downfalls: it did not look like any of the bedding was washed, hair was all over the sheets, no dishwasher soap, and the owner had someone use our bathroom as we arrived and then told me I wasn't suppose to be here until 4, yet VRBO said 3? So regardless someone would be using our place before we got there without it being cleaned?

Charming cottage

The unit itself is dated but has charming historical cottage feel. Some repair of windows and doors is much needed for security. This unit is part of a duplex closer to the beach, so you will get the best view. If the other unit is occupied, you will lose some privacy as their balcony is right underneath your master bedroom and their one bedroom is underneath your kitchen. The only way to go down the steps to the beach is passing through the other unit’s balcony. However, you can’t beat the LOCATION and the VIEW. It’s like having your own private beach all to yourself. Very relaxing to view to soak in all the sun!

Dishwasher didn’t work well. Oven was smokey. No bed linens for our son’s inflatable mattress. Windows for view super dirty. Deck is disconnected from kitchen and living area. Beach was great - big but private. View was super nice. Deck though old made for a nice time. Location is great.

Cute Beach Home

Check in was easy. The house is cute with a fantastic view. For anyone traveling here just know that you have to climb several stairs to get to and from the beach and walk across the neighboring townhouse deck to gain access to the stairs that go down to the beach. It wasn’t a huge deal as the people staying next to us during our stay were very friendly but it makes it a little awkward if they are out enjoying their side. Great location, close to a grocery store and extremely nice beach. Thanks!

Amazing location

The location is amazing, plenty of parking and responsive property manager. Although the house itself is as basic as the pictures show, it’s still a little surprising how minimalistic the house and amenities are for that price and neighborhood. Found a live cockroach, a bloody blanket that somehow the housecleaner thought was ok to fold back up instead of throw away, and you can tell that the housecleaner doesn’t wash the mattress cover from the hair and dirt left on it, but those aren’t really the owner’s fault and he addressed everything we brought to his attention. The test of whether to leave a good or bad review is whether I would stay again, and I would because of the location.
