"This rental has it all. Located in the woods close enough to Kings Beach to enjoy the all the amenities, but away from the traffic and crowds. Comfortable and beautifully appointed unit, with spa, pool and excellent hiking trails. We were here for the 4th of July and hiked the nearby trail to the beach to watch the fireworks. Wonderful!"

"The bed was like sleeping on plywood and the pillows were incredibly lumpy. They also failed to leave the parking pass in sight, hence why I got a parking ticket while staying on the property."

"It was our 45th anniversary and we came up from San Jose for a nice getaway.Our 3 night stay in May was so nice! Riley answered all our texts or any questions we had.We spent time in Truckee, Tahoe City, South Tahoe and Kings Beach. Did a lot of shopping. Breakfast at Cornerstone Bakery Cafe in Truckee which was delicious. We had a sweet stop at the Log Cabin Ice Cream shop in Kings Beach. "Didn’t know on the listing that it was a shared cabin. Also right when I pulled up to the house the designated parking space for guests had a tree stump in the middle of it with no cone. I didn’t realize it until it was too late and I scraped the whole undercarriage of my brand new car. The hot tub wasn’t very private, neighbors could see you from the outside, so I ended up not using it. Other than that I thought the inside was super clean and tidy, fully renovated. "
