"This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. The back yard and deck are spacious but we spent most of our time traveling. "We loved this place! The view of the lake and peaceful atmosphere was very relaxing. We had lovely ducks come up to visit. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. We are only sorry we could not have stayed longer!"

"Beautiful property. Well appointed kitchen. Clean. Restaurant on premises. View from balcony awesome. Luxury bedding. Convenient to getting to expressway. Close to charming towns of Mahone Bay and Chester. Watched part of the Chester Yacht Club's annual regatta from a distance on our balcony. Highly recommend this property."

"Our first time in charming Chester was exactly what I had imagined in an authenticly historic home , well appointed with comfortable and tasteful decor. Perfect. And the town has evrything- a bakery with wonderful coffee and pasteries, a pub and a wharf front restaurant with lobster and chowder, shopping and historic architecture. And its a short drive from Halifax and to LaHave, Lunenberg, Mahone Bay and Peggys Cove. "
