"The B&B is pristine and very neat and tidy. We were upstairs and had to learn that the roof was low and sloped! The noise could be heard clearly from the room below. When we booked we must've nissed the small print! We paid a lot of money and expected a B&B to include breakfast. We would've had to pay extra had we wanted any!! In our humble opinion it was not worth the huge sum we had to pay."

"Our 3-night stay at Mardon House was just perfect. James and Angela are great hosts: friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, James gave us a quick orientation to the city with a helpful photo and map in the hall. The twin room was clean and well-furnished, including the en-suite bathroom. "The room was really nice, the bathroom big enough and with window and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! Everything was very clean. You can walk to the town centre within 10 min, this is also very good. We would stay here again. "

"Fabulous accommodation. Just 3 rooms let by Lucy and James, who own the local brewery also. Great breakfast cooked to order and rooms are well decorated. Lcuy sells her art at the house if you are interested in Scottish landscapes in watercolour, and some oil. Very quiet, blackout curtains, comfy medium mattress and good pillow selection. Highly recommend and would stay again."
