"This is a long overdue review. We booked this as a goof, thinking it would be some wacky disaster that might lead to a good story. Instead, we were blown away by how awesome it is. The cabins are small, so don't ignore the descriptions. They're a place to sleep and keep your stuff. That's by design. "We had a great stay! For the price, you can't beat it having lake front rental with kayaks. Nice views of the lake. Very peaceful. 15-40mins away from great hiking. It was private; sometimes we heard neighbors, but rarely. House on a main road and would hear road noise, but if no cars passing, then it was quiet. We used the kayaks, and I brought my paddleboard. Life jackets were provided. There were a lot of lily pads and the pictures must be older. On the small lake, there was a trail...

"Great last minute trip! The host was very helpful in letting us know about all the amenities as well as what is available in the house. The home was spacious with plenty of room for all of us. It was clean and cared for. They added a pool table which was a huge hit. The fire pit was perfect for night time s'more's and relaxing outdoors. We can’t wait to go back!!"
