"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Galveston Island. This will be the second time we stayed at Maravilla condos, but the first time in this specific condo. "Brenda was a wonderful host. Very easy instructions on arrival. Although the exterior of the complex seems dated, don’t let that fool you. They are constantly upgrading and doing on going maintenance. The interior was beautiful and looked like it was recently renovated. The condos are on the edge of town. You are away from most of the activity in town, which I consider a good thing. If you like to be where the action is, it’s only a few miles down the road. I enjoyed my time there immensely. "

"Nice weekend stay at this unit... the condo building is a little older and showing its age in some ways, but the unit itself is in very good condition and had everything we needed. Host provides plenty of towels and kitchen supplies and the A/C works great. Balcony has a nice partial view of the ocean, we enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the view although often you could smell marijuana (not our thing) coming from other nearby units.
