"The property has a beautiful view but it has a very long and steep walk to get to any restaurants. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING even though the listing clearly stated there was A/C and there is not a single fan in the house, either. Google maps does not get you to the house, you have to keep on going and then back into the gated driveway or go past it and turn around. Very difficult to get a large vehicle into the driveway. "The property is large and beautiful with an amazing pool which we did not use due to it being a bit chilly but it was still enjoyable sitting outside and having that as part of the overall beautiful scenery. The location is on a beautiful part of Lake Garda. It is a quiet location, not congested with beautiful views of the Lake. It is walking distance to some very good restaurants with one of them right next door. The house was comfortable and well secured. There is a small washer but no dryer...

"A great property, would recommend. The only slight negative was a moderately busy road nearby so you can hear traffic noise when in the garden. Easy walks to restaurants and lake beaches, but best to have a hire car to really explore the area."

"Pros: The views from the pool and the dining area are amazing. Cons: If you are staying here you definateley need to have a car, the welcome pack gives taxi numbers that do not answer mostly and when they do they are busy. Taxi service is basically none existent in Toscolano Maderno. Having this information prior to arriving would have made us better prepared with our travel plans."

"The villa is superb and communication from the host was brilliant. The only thing that would stop us returning is the proximity to the main road. You get used to it however for the cost we paid we didn’t expect that and the first weekend there was a car enthusiasts meeting nearby so the noise was even more noticeable.
