"The Riverfront Retreat was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking and enjoying a trip to Lake Placid. We enjoyed the relaxing sounds of the river near by, the comfort of the cabin and the view of the mountains. The host was great to work with and answered pretty quickly to our messages. Definitely would recommend to others. "

"Easy to book. Communication excellent prior to check in. Great location. Quiet. Floors, fridge, island draws and toilet were dirty. There isn’t lock on back door which is the sunroom door. Sunroom is advertised as bedroom. Guests go through sunroom to get outside. The sunroom doesn’t have a closet, but it worked for us. Towels were damp and folded on the beds. Linen closet jammed packed with hangers and towels falling out when the door opened. Minor detail- suggest removing the modern...
