"This property suited our needs perfectly. It’s right on the water and right in the center of El Nido. It’s right next to restaurants, tour information, and a convenience store, plus an easy area to grab a trike. The only complaint I have is that the rooms are all adjoining so it was a bit loud if you have neighbors. We could hear the rooms next door TV all night. Otherwise it had exactly what we needed and the staff was SO nice and caring. "

"lovely, authentic place located in beautiful nature surroundings on the top of the hill (mind there are a lot of steps to get up there, although worth it). Walkable distance (1 km ) from the Vanilla beach , were all main amenities such as ATM, shops and restaurants are available. Overall great place and definitely would recommend it."

"Vi ankom til en mudret byggeplads uden varsel. Turen derhen var besværlig, og beliggenheden var ikke god, men nærmere elendig, sammenlignet med det der står i beskrivelsen. Badeværelset lugtede, var klamt, bruser var ubrugelig pga. vandtrykket var så lavt. Værelsesvæggene var også klamme og beskidte. Indgang til værelserne var jordede og ofte mudret, som man tager med ind på værelset. "

"DO NOT BOOK! - this place does not exist anymore (we were talking to many people in town - no one new this place). Hotels.com does not support you with any refund, they don‘t care that they have properties on their website which doesn‘t exist. I book around 150-180 rooms per year and I can only suggest you to not book this property since your money will be gone."

"Mountainside Inn is a small and very basic family run guesthouse with only 5 rooms, located perfectly central within the little town of El Nido, but a bit off the busy Main Street. Rooms are tiny and just fit a 1,40 m bed and a small bathroom. Latter has cold water only, but given the climate it’s really all you need. Aircon is noisy, but I did not need it even though it was quite hot outside. During power shortages they have a generator which is noisy as well, but my room was to the other side...

"Cama súper cómoda. Sentimos no poder disfrutar de la piscina porque estaba en obras y no nos lo advirtieron con anterioridad. El personal muy amable y la habitación muy bonita con detalles. En cuanto al desayuno bueno pero no nos gustó el hecho de tener que acordar dia a día la hora del desayuno e ir limitado a es hora ya que estábamos de vacaciones para no tener horarios fijos."

"Todo excelente. Súper recomendable. Cómodo, limpísimo, atención inmejorable de todos los integrantes del hotel. La comida deliciosa y el desayuno abundante. Los dueños Noud y Jennifer, siempre atentos a mis necesidades como huésped, me apoyaron en todo momento. Me sentí en casa. Para reserva de excursiones, vehículos, etc. es muy recomendable hacerlas allí mismo en el hotel. Gracias Noud y Jennifer y a todos por una inolvidable estancia en “EL NIDO” y en Mansión Buenavista. Everything was excellent. Highly recommended. Comfortable, spotlessly clean, and the service from every member of the hotel staff was outstanding. The food was delicious and the breakfast plentiful. The owners, Noud and Jennifer, were always attentive to my needs as a guest and supported me at all times. I felt at home. For booking tours, vehicles, etc., it’s highly recommended to do so right there at the hotel.
