Upon check in the house was so clean. The kitchen was well appointed and was nice to have a keurig available with K cups. There was no shortage of towels and was nice to have a full bath tub to use. This location was perfect so we could walk to dinner downtown in less than 15 minutes. I would stay here again for sure.

This property is cute and charming, and I would have loved to give it a 10/10. I’ll start with the positives. The location is ideal—very central and within a 10-minute drive to all the main spots. The home has great natural light and was very clean.I do want to note (for anyone who is scent-sensitive) that the cleaning products used in the kitchen cabinets were quite strong, and the dishes smelled like cleaner. We hand-washed everything before use. This is a personal sensitivity and not something I’m factoring into my rating.The reason for the lower rating is the bed in the master bedroom. Unfortunately, it was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress sagged badly in the middle, making it difficult to sleep, and the bed creaked loudly with any movement. One of us ended up sleeping on the couch and rotating throughout the night. When I looked underneath, the middle support legs appeared to be broken. I did notify the host at checkout, so hopefully this will be resolved for future guests.Aside from this issue, the home is delightful. Water pressure and hot water were excellent, the heater worked well during a cold stay, and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend.

I give this a poor rating for 1 reason only:My employer and I both left our clothes in the closet. They were quick to respond and work out a plan for me to get them back. I happened to be traveling thru the next few days so I was able to pick the clothes up. After arriving to my destination from passing through (7 hours later). I open the bag of clothes to see one outfit is missing. The cleaning service provided a picture of all the clothes hanging in the closet and were accounted for, however somewhere in the shuffle, one came missing. The house is adorable and clean. Loved the location. Communication was great. Just hate I am missing clothes.

The home was very nice and clean up kept and updated. Convenient in getting to and from the events for which we visited for. The only thing I would add is more details to when you check-in give the tenants the process of exiting the property.

Cute Festival Stay

Really cute spot close to downtown. We had a few issues that the host was quick to respond to, but it did require us to check out two hours early. Host offered to buy us breakfast for the inconvenience (we had to very quickly pack up with a rambunctious 2 year old), but never followed through which was a bit of a disappointment. Overall great stay all things considered.

Cute and cozy

My husband and I booked this stay for the weekend we came into town for my best friend’s wedding! The property was in the cutest neighborhood with houses similar to our stay on both sides of the street. We saw people riding their bikes and walking their dogs throughout our stay. Little to no noise through out our stay as well. The house was extremely well kept from the updated details of the decor to the extreme tidiness and cleanliness of the entire home. Genuinely felt similar to staying in my own home. The house had that cute older home charm with touches of modern decor throughout. You can tell a lot of thought and effort go into keeping this property nice. Another big thing I appreciated was how easy it was to communicate with the property’s owner. I even left a jacket and he messaged me letting me know. Overall great stay in Lafayette this weekend.

Wonderful House to Call Home for the Week

I am an attorney and new to the Lafayette area. I booked this property while in town for work and to look for a longer term rental. Tyler, the host, had excellent communication and could not have been more accommodating. The property was clean, comfortable with all necessary amenities, safe, and close to the downtown area with all the unique shops and great restaurants. Highly recommended!
