Lärz is a village south of the Müritz, between the small towns of Rechlin (Müritz) and Mirow. The Müritz-Havel Canal, a popular waterway that connects the Müritz with the waters of Berlin, runs through the municipal area. The bathing/fishing lake with sunbathing lawn, jetty and centre platform is approx. 1 km away. Restaurant in the village. Very good conditions for cycling thanks to the well-developed network of cycle paths.
