"We had a wonderful stay at Shimmy's apartment. The place was immaculate. It is so nice to stay at a place that is so well taken care of. Our hosts were wonderful! It is evident that their aim is to ensure the guests are comfortable and are able to enjoy their stay. We definitely recommend the apartment to anyone planning a visit to Chicago. It is a big city and if you don't bring a car, you can get to the bus stop in a few minutes walk, then you can use trains to get around Chicago without any...

"For it being an older building and the silly things that come with that, it was so close to coffee, record shops, parks and even a library. Loved how close it was to explore Chicago but be in a cozy place. Neighbor was quiet, which I enjoyed. Definitely will book again. "

"The neighborhood was perfect for me. I’d like to book the same property again because of the location.The only problem was checking in. The address was wrong and if I wasn’t raised in that part of Chicago I would have been very confused.Plus I checked in late at night. It wasn’t an easy process. Next time it will be diffeeent."

"Wonderful stay. Loved the area. It was a bit noisy but the host was kind enough to provide ear plugs and a noise machine that really helped! The shower wasnt the most luxurious but at the end of the day it was useable. I would happily recommend this place to my friends. Anytime I am in the area I'd stay again. "
