Kelly’s help and hospitality were equally off-the-charts fantastic! She went above and beyond to ensure that my husband and I + our 3 grandchildren had an extraordinary experience. We had high expectations, and the Historic Blume Cottage and Kelly far exceeded our expectations in every way....

"House was spacious. Bedrooms felt very private. Gorgeous tub in master bath. Only downside is the couch in the living room. Its a futon style, so a plus for anyone looking for extra sleeping spots, but it wasnt super comfy for hanging out in the living room. The two chairs were very comfy."

I only wish they had made it clear they weren't going to send the check-in information until the last minute, because the ad suggests they might confirm that two days prior to the stay. So don't get worried when you haven't heard from them and you're almost there."

"A-frame home on the lake, has paddle boats, kayaks and an area for a camp fire! My grandkids, my son and I had a blast. Big yard with other yard games available that kept the children occupied. They did not want to leave. My two granddaughters especially like the top floor which they took over and made it the “Girls Only Room”"

"This was a very comfortable place to stay. It is an older home that is beaitifully renovated. Parts of the house are not level. It was perfect for my family, except for having only one coffee cup. Plenty of k-cups were available, with no cups to drink it in. All three bedrooms have queen beds. There are no Kings. This was not convenient for my tall husband. The hostess was very prompt with replys. I would stay here again."

We fished, swam in the pool, played games, explored Slidel, went to lake Pontchartrain and swamps. There is so much to do in the area and the house was the icing on the cake.
