Staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean. We had a function at the community center which was close. Restaurant had a good menu and food and service were pleasant.

The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and efficient, The room amenities were nicely done, spacious, and rooms were very comfortable.

The renovated to make it look good in the pictures. Don’t expect good hot water, a gym or to see any evidence of staff. Room was cleaned 0 times in my 4 night stay and nobody is ever at the front desk, you have to phone her each time. The cord on the microwave also didn’t reach the plug from tv stand it was on and the tv stand was screwed to the wall so you couldn’t move it.

The floors were not clean, i read other reviews about this problem, but hoped they listened and fixed the problem but they did not. The wall in bathroom needs to be cleaned. The lobby floor had not been vacuumed when we were there. The Christmas tree was still up in the Restaurant (it was end of May). That tells me they are too lazy to take it down. I was there for 2 nights, after the first night I was asked if I need anything I said more coffee, that was dropped off but they did not empty the garbage, make the bed or vacuum (no surprise). They have shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. My conditioner was empty. The shower walls and ceiling were not clean. I was in a king size room and there was an open cot in there. ( I did not request a cot). I believe if the attention to detailed cleaning was taken, this would be a nice hotel.

The hotel might be nice when it is finished, but it is in the precess of renovation and should not be rented yet. No t.v, construction materials around, hanger fot clothes not usable, etc. The man who works there was nice to come and set up u tube for us

Friendly staff. On the highway so convenient to get going in the morning. Got the job done but bare bones. No coffee maker or anything open before 6am. Sound carries especially from second floor so bring your ear plugs. Clean sheets and towels. Dirty fridge, dirty shower, nail clippings on the floor.

Poor value for the cost. Property was in a state of major renovation. Significant improvements should have been completed before this facility should have been opened for business. Very disappointing!

Very nice lady at reception when we arrived. We were disappointed that there was no cable tv in the room so we missed the curling bonspiel Also there was no coffee maker in the room or any available in the lobby. We had to go into town for a cup of coffee/tea. No dresser or luggage stand and only one chair in the room. When asked, another chair was supplied. Hotel was still being renovated. Maybe waiting to open would have been a good idea.

Not quite ready for us

Where to begin. I think the building is not quite ready for guests. No hooks, hangers or storage . Hot water- forget it. Bathroom sink drained slower than molasses in January. No cable. No lamps. Only wall lights. That being said, the young lady working was fantastic, friendly, and creative. Main part of room clean. Bathroom could have used a bit more of a wipe down.

Once the hotel is completed it will be nice. At the moment it looks like an abandoned construction site. Literally drove past it twice thinking it was vacant office building, not a single car in parking lot and poor signage. Walked in, doors open, no one there. Literally, no one, only one staff and gone getting supplies. Pool area/fitness room is incomplete and full of building materials and equipment. Room was decent, but door didn’t lock. Could deadbolt it from inside, but didn’t lock otherwise, could just walk in didn’t need key card. Didn’t matter much, there was only one other guest. If you just need a room with bed fridge and microwave and don’t expect anything else, which is all we needed, it’s fine. Just don’t expect any amenities. Like no amenities, not even ice machine or connected TV. The staff member was very friendly and helpful though. And it was very quiet.
Restaurant isn’t finished yet.

We recently stayed at the Lac House Inn, but only really slept there for the night as we were attending an evening function in Lac Du Bonnett. The room was clean and tidy , the rug seemed abit dated and the only soap in the bathroom was on an hanger in the shower. A little inconvenient when washing your hands at the sink in the bathroom. We did not realize this until we came back from our evening event late so did not call the front desk for a hand soap . Also the tv remote was very confusing to figure out to locate the local tv guide on. It looked like the motel had a nice eating area and small bar in the main entrance area. We didnot use this service . I would stay here again as the price is reasonable. The check out procedure left us a bit confused as the front desk person was new i think and didnt understand that we were to pay at the property upon check in , which clearly stayed that on my itinerary of which i printed and took with me. When i asked for a receipt of payment she said Expedia would email me a receipt as thats who had charged it , but that was wrong as we had provided a provided a different credit card upon check in At the hotel when asked how we would like to pay. Upon speaking with the manager she was able to provide us a receipt of payment with the correct credit card info before we left the property

We were the only people there no restaurant or bar service when we arrived or left AC unit not functioning properly no place to get water no one at reception overpriced NEVER again
