"Our three generation family had a wonderful time at Casa Alvarado! The two casitas and four large bedrooms in the main house provided us with plenty of space so that we were together but not in each others’ space the whole week. The house is right on the beautiful beach where we snorkeled, swam and collected shells. Nice pool, hammock area and outdoor fire ring. The kitchen has everything you need. The owner Heidi has connections with a caterer, drivers and a sports fishing captain. all good...

"This place exceeded all my hopes - beautifully set up with wonderful gardens, pool, hot tub and direct access to the beach. There was everything we needed and more - washer dryer, two bathrooms for fussy teens, ac, a perfect kitchen and extremely comfy beds. Gina and crew made us feel so welcome, and we loved Los Barriles itself. This was a terrific introduction to a part of Mexico we’ve not been in before, but will definitely return to!"

"The hosts were more than helpful with everything from fishing locations, finding a chef, snorkel locations and everything in between. The house is new, very clean and comfortable. The kayaks were fun to take out from the house. I didn't think we would use the jacuzzi, but to be honest early mornings with a cup of coffee watching the sun come up just can't be beat. "What could be better than waking up every day to a beautiful sunrise visible from the spacious king bedroom? Step outside to enjoy a breakfast with gorgeous ocean views and watch the birds welcome the day as you listen to the sound of waves rolling into the rocky shore below. "Beautiful casita perfect for two! Very clean, well stocked, with a comfortable bed. Watched dolphins and jumping rays from the patio. The neighborhood is a way from town and restaurants, so transportation is needed. We rented Mark’s ATV and took outings to the waterfalls and El Cardonal."
