Always a great time here! Looks like they put new flooring in the bedroom. There were some drawers that the hardware had come off in the kitchen and such but other than that is alway clean and a great location within the resort! Love having a kitchen and separate living area.

The unit was clean, big and well located. There were a number of things that weren’t working that didn’t allow us to fully enjoy. The safe in the room doesn’t work. That’s huge for us. We don’t like to walk around with a lot of cash. Also, the keypad to lock the door to the patio/pool didn’t work either. So we had to walk around through the front door to enter/exit pool. This made it dangerous to walk onto a tile floor with wet feet. Had the patio door lock been operating, the entrance/exit to/from pool would be onto carpeting. The knobs on the washing machine are broken. It works but loads can’t be altered because of the broken knobs.

the location of this property is fantastic. y wife and i have stayed here many times. this unit was not clean!! actual dirt was on the floor. the wall going into the bathroom from the bedroom had a sweat stain from someone's arm sliding down the wall. the unit has very dated appliances and the tile on the island have large pieces missing. in the kitchen the floor has mildew stains. the master shower lead edge tile has a 50 cent piece of missing tile. i texted the property manager about several missing items and got replies like, the safe is out of order, the remote is missing for the ceiling fan. This unit needs a lot of work to get anywhere near the quality of most units in the area. renter beware...

Great on Resort Property

This property was great for my family! It was conveniently located on the La Quinta Resort property making it very easy to use the resort amenities, especially the golf cart service for rides for my grandmother! We stayed here during my sister's wedding and would love to return when we come back!

Spa Villa Getaway

This is the second stay with family. This time we rented the entire villa which adds another bedroom suite which was perfect for the four of us. The villa is well equipped and property management responds quickly to questions and requests.

Pass on this one until they rehab the unit

My family and I have been staying at the La Quinta resort in spa villas for at least 10 years, sometimes booking through the resort and sometimes doing VRBO for privately held villas. This was by far the worst maintained and dirtiest unit. Every wall was marked up, rugs and furniture extremely worn, the kitchen was poorly stocked of utensils, knobs were missing on cabinets, and the master bath toilet room smelled of mildew and looked as if it had mold growing on the floor (more to come on this) as Freddie B mentioned in his post in March, 2022. The management company did offer to clean but a cleaning was not going to make a difference. We tried to "tough" it out for 4 nights but on the last day we had ants attack the kids cereal in the kitchen and my daughter found mushrooms growing in the master toilet room, yes, the one that smelled of mildew (I wish there was a feature to post pictures)! At that point I walked over to the resort and rented a room event though it was already 5 pm as we had had it!

Spacious retreat good value

Would return. Very spacious and comfortable in resort setting (plus bonus of being contiguous to La Quinta resort). Lovely patios, off kitchen/ dining, and master bedroom patio 20 feet from small pool and spa serving immediate cluster of units. Old style mission decor but comfortable and in keeping with setting (would benefit spirometer some updating). Large bedroom and master bath with double facing gas fireplace. Full kitchen, dated but functional. Lots of place settings but bit short in some areas. Only had Keurig coffee maker so ended up buying coffee in morning at onsite marketplace. If your wanting old style la Quinta charm this is the place.

Perfect location

We loved our stay here. The location was perfect for us, close to main restaurants and easy access to the main pool. We loved the smaller pool right outside of our gate. It was spacious and perfect.

Great place for a staycation.

The overall property was great. Location was good, nice spa and pool close by. The furniture in the unit was very comfortable. My only criticisms are the ceiling fans were hard to operate via remote. Also there was a small leak in the spray nozzle of the kitchen sink. Finally I had trouble with the bathroom/bedroom fireplace. These are all small details, and would love to rent here again, especially if these small things were addressed. Overall a pleasant experience.

Beautiful Resort

The resort is gorgeous! And the villa was great. Very spacious and cozy. One issue: Kitchen needs some serious upgrades and needs a deep clean. Counters, dishwasher and microwave need upgrading. Dirty pots and pans put back in the cupboards — gross! But it’s most likely because the dishwasher is old and not working great. Kitchen is pretty shabby. Overall, the kitchen could have been a lot cleaner —cupboards, microwave, fridge felt sticky. On a more positive note: Bed was super comfy and the patios were spectacular! Villa is in a great location. Literally steps away from a hot tub. Really enjoyed our stay and would come back…. With the hope for some much needed kitchen upgrades.
