Authentic Mid-Century experience!

Desert Bungalow

Thoroughly enjoyed the property and location. A very well equipped household and kitchen. Love the mountain views and the privacy of the outdoor space. Communication with the host was outstanding as we dealt with temporary payment issues at my end. Gotta love La Quinta.

Our stay at Casa Palma

The house and yard are lovely, exactly as pictured. The kitchen has many small appliances and a good assortment of pots and pans. Tamar was quick to help us resolve a coupled of issues we had when we first arrived.

Hosts are as beautiful as the property

I didn't get to stay at the property due to the Palisades Fire (needed to stay back and deal with losing my own home) but my friend (who I was planning to go with and enjoy this blissful escape) did go and loved everything about it. So peaceful, so convenient, so perfectly curated. It was the perfect little spot to rest and restore in between the event we were there for (LaCrosse tourney). Equally important was the graciousness and kindness of the host who spoke and cried with me as I explained why (the one who booked the place) would not be going after all. It was one of the most beautiful conversations I've had with a "stranger" now friend ever...it's what makes home-sharing experiences so incredibly special. Thank you!

Lovely stay in beautiful La Quinta

This quaint property has so much privacy. The extra largeoutdoor area was perfect to hang out in with the views of the mountains and the jungle like landscape.It was a perfect escape from the hustle bustle.Very relaxing, we would highly recommend this place!!!

Neighborhood Oasis Royale

Lovely property, well appointed, close to a huge selection of great food in Old Towne, and a great take-off point for popular excursions. This property has an endless, secluded, diverse desert botanical yard to relax, enjoy the breeze, birds and surrounding vista's from the many large windows and numerous outdoor seating areas outside. Love the kitschy MCM decor/vibe. Comfortable bed and furniture. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood to see the variety of architecture and landscaping. A serene getaway not to be missed.

Beautiful midcenturey home

Incredible views of the surrounding mountains, amazing desert plants in the property. Well stocked kitchen.safe quiet neighborhood. Grateful for the prompt communication with the hosts. Checking in was difficult because we arrived at night and there were no lights or numbers but this was remedied promptly, numbers placed on the gate and front door light repaired. We had a wonderful 3 weeks.

Lovely escape in the city

Original home in La Quinta with an amazing yard for outdoor dining, birdwatching, and sense of beauty in the midst of the city. House has everything we needed, and is well stocked including toiletries and cooking spices. The place is clean, quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Enjoyable return visit to this wonderful spot.

Our stay at Casa Palma in the beautiful La Quinta Cove area was as wonderful this time as on our first visit four years ago. We love the large, private yard and comfortable home. There is access to trails and all the amenities nearby. Hosts Tamar & Drew are terrific.. providing all the information you need promptly and checking in to be sure all is as it should be. We hope to return again soon.

Good Getaway in La Quinta

I like this property a lot. I have stayed here twice now and would recommend it. This last time I used it as a launching point to visit the southern end of Joshua Tree Park. It was also reasonably convenient for getting to the Palm Springs area. It is located in a residential neighborhood and close to main access roads and lots of amenities. The lot is a bit larger than expected, with mature trees and bushes as well as being fenced in all around. As a result, the property feels more secluded/private than might be expected for this neighborhood. I like the kitchen a lot and find it easy to use plus I enjoy the retro vibe. The lighting is good for reading in the main area as well as in the bedrooms. It's a bright and sunny environment with the drapes and blinds open as well. There is also a lot of room in the yard with several seating areas to choose from so if it isn't too hot you aren't limited to being indoors. Overall, my stay worked out very well. As mentioned, the property itself is quite nice. I also feel that having a positive experience with the owners is important to a good vacation. I had success working with the owner (Tamara) to resolve a small problem upon arrival. She was professional and got in touch with me right away to fix things. Very helpful. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Nothing to not like! Wish the weather had been a little warmer to enjoy the extensive grounds and outdoor seating more! We missed some information because it was posted on the frig - maybe consider a little notebook on coffee table. Loved all the retro touchew, right down to the iron!!

Good Accomodations, Nice Trip

This is a very nice rental, well appointed and clean. Comfortable with an easy to use kitchen. Good location in a regular style neighborhood in La Quinta. My husband and I certainly recommend this property and think it would be suitable for two couples or a couple with children.

Beautiful!

This house is perfect. We loved everything about it. The owners really thought of everything. We came here for Coachella, but I would rent this house just to hang out for a weekend. The grounds are beautiful and private. Mountain views are stunning!
