Great location, comfortable space

This Villa was comfortable and clean but begs for simple updates. New appliances in the kitchen seem essential (ice maker broken, microwave handle broken, range clearly heavily used). In addition all pots & pans are old, and all cabinets need refinishing. The bathroom would appreciate updates as well with the cabinetry & shower + showerhead. The patio furniture needs to be tossed as it’s not in good condition. The layout of the space is nice & in general, it’s a comfortable place to stay. I wouldn’t recommend it for more than 2 people however b/c there wouldn’t be enough sleeping space unless they put a pullout bed and a smaller dining table. Legacy Villas felt like a safe community and the property managers were both friendly & responsive. I would stay here again if the price was appropriate.

Great, convenient place

We loved staying here. It's convenient to what we wanted, comfortable, and everything worked. Would stay again. My only suggestion is that the supplies be checked. We arrived to 1/4 roll of toilet paper, with no other rolls in sight. Also, there was pepper but no salt in the pantry. Those things are pretty basic for a vrbo.

Excellent condo and resort

The condo was even nicer than expected. New living room furniture. Very comfy king bed. Super short walk to resort’s large pool with cabanas. Only complaint is the rock hard brown sugar. Should be replaced and also have sugar for cereal, not just a few packets for coffee.

Perfect getaway

The Classic casita, spacious, well maintained, the grounds were well manicured; fruit trees abound; mountains in the backyard; pools everywhere, fitness center, it really couldn’t have been more perfect & peaceful. I’m going to have to buy one of these units!! Best part: pet friendly, no stress, staff fabulous!

Peaceful Retreat

This lovely condo was just what we needed. The condo is beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed the tranquility of the community. The grounds were pristine and we relaxed in one of the many spas. The backdrop of the mountains was spectacular. Would definitely return.

Everything was wonderful except lack of security. There is no designated adult pool and on weekends the pools are out of control. Boom boxes, glass bottles, girls smoking in the main and lap pools, kids throwing balls between pools. I really wish there was one adults only pool. Other than that it was a beautiful stay

La Quinta getaway

Great property, pools and ground were excellent. The villa itself was tidy and clean had everything we needed for our stay. Just seemed to be lots of crickets in the unit each night, but would find 3-4 dead each morning. We will definitely look into returning to Legacy Villas .

Comfortable stay at a beautiful property

Legacy Villas is a gorgeous property of condos and vacation rentals. Pools are gorgeous and the grounds are kept pristine. The 1 bedroom unit was comfortable with a full kitchen with all the amenities. Highly recommend this place!

Springtime desert osais

We love La Quinta and the Legacy Villas. We've stayed in Legacy a few times over the years. This villa was very nice, and located perfectly relative to the pools, quiet and parking. I'd give our stay a 9.5 out of 10. The only reason it's not a 10, is that villa is showing a few signs of age. For a few thousand dollars, the owners could do a little updating and make this property sparkle. Don't get me wrong, we'll be back. Thank you!

Nice location, great property manager, dark space.

We love this property for its many pools and proximity to downtown LaQuinta. This particular unit is a bit tired. Old well worn cabinets and very dark interior. The colors are brown and windows do not let in much light. A bit of a cave like vibe.

Enjoyed 4 days in La Quinta

We loved the one bedroom Villa. Nice location, quiet and everyone was friendly. We never cooked anything except morning coffee. But, it looked like there were enough pots and pans to make a big meal if you're so inclined. We would (and plan to) return again and hopefully to the same unit. Finding full Spectrum TV with HBO and Netflix/Prime was an unexpected bonus. The only two "minor" negatives were the number of emails and texts received from the management company. (mostly redundant) I guess too many is better than not enough. The other thing was the living room furniture was not real comfortable. Pretty much strait up and down. . Again, minor negatives. Bed felt great though and the shower was very spacious. We will be back.

Misled by the unit description

I rented this unit because it said that it would sleep four in a one bedroom and sleeper sofa. Sofa did not open up so my adult children slept on the floor. I paid more specifically for the bed configuration and instead was informed that they would notify management. No call back. It ruined my family's Thanksgiving because of the lack of communication. I wi not be booking with this company again!

Covid isolation

This hotel-style apartment was exactly what my husband and I needed for a two-week stay. Due to coronavirus, work and very high heat, we spent most of our time indoors. The kitchen was well-equipped for weekday cooking, the living room layout was function and comfortable (loved the firm and supportive couch, the coffee table easily wheeled away for fitness workouts and yoga), the bedroom was dark and quiet, and the bathroom was very spacious and received ample natural light. The nearest pool was only steps away and mostly quiet. It seems to be only one of a few pools on the property designed for lap swimming, rather than just splashing around, but it's very shallow and much smaller than Olympic size. The location, like probably most of the resort-style properties in the area, is not ideal for long-distance road running as it is surrounded by very busy roads. However, there are plenty of sidewalks so it's fairly easy to map out a route for a long run. For short walks, there is a pedestrian path right outside the gates and there are plenty of bike lanes for cycling. There are no restaurants or health food stores within walking distance and the area is generally lacking in terms of healthy vegan/vegetarian options besides the standard raw salads.
