The Space:

This 613 sq ft | 57 sqm condo at Torres Cantera resides inside a 24/7 gated residential area. The area sits on top of a small hill overlooking La Paz Bay and that elevation gives you some of the best views of the bay and the Sea of Cortez. The development includes two swimming pools, a gym, a movie theater, covered parking and beautifully manicured grounds. Plus the condo is situated close to the famous sights and attractions in La Paz, grocery, convenience stores, shopping and more! - A lovely stylish living area with hardwood floors, a comfy sofa and lots of natural light that comes in through the 5th-floor terrace window. Open up the glass doors for a great bay breeze and indoor/outdoor connection.



- You’ll have the wall-mounted flatscreen Smart TV, perfect for relaxing downtime moments at home between sightseeing.



- Step out onto your refreshing private 5th-floor terrace with an amazing La Paz Bay and Sea of Cortez (ocean) view! There’s a table and some chairs to relax out there anytime. It’s a fantastic place to sip your morning coffee and breathe in fresh air to start your day or wind down in the evening with a cocktail and a spectacular sunset!



- The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare a meal at home and you’ll have the important extras like a coffee maker for those morning perk ups and a blender for the afternoon margaritas!

Getting Around:

The condo is about 17 miles | 10.6 km or about a 30-min drive to/from the Airport (LAP) and a it’s a 2.5 hour drive or 123 miles | 198 km to/from San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD).



Other Things to Note:

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Water and power interruptions are a general issue throughout La Paz, not specific to this property, and are more common during the summer hurricane season, typically lasting 4-5 hours. These interruptions can also occur at other times of the year.

As your host, we monitor our water levels closely, and we have the option to send a water truck (pipa) if needed to keep the property supplied. To help us avoid running into these issues, we kindly ask that you use water consciously, turning it off when it's not needed. Recycled water is also an easy way to help conserve, both for us and for the environment.



The TV is equipped with streaming services to provide various entertainment options. Please note that cable channels are not available.



Please refrain from consuming food or beverages in the living room.



Please note that the parking is not covered during the storm season between May and November.



Please follow all pool rules at the complex. All guests must wear swimwear. Entry to the pool area is permitted only when wearing suitable swimwear.



Please note that the pool is not heated.



We provide some basic essentials complimentary upon arrival (note: these are not replenished): drinking water, a roll of paper towels, a set of napkins, a sponge, liquid soap & trash bags. And in each bathroom, you’ll find a roll of toilet paper, some liquid hand soap, a bar of soap for the shower, shampoo, and bath towels.



Please keep in mind that any damaged or lost items such as towels, sheets, blankets, broken armchairs, furniture or wall stains will be charged at the time of check out.



Electricity is not included for long-term stays of 15 nights or more. There’s a $56 USD weekly electricity fee in this case, charged on the day of check in to be paid in cash to our local team.



A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.



Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.



There is a penalty of $20.00 USD for late check-outs.



Please note that the washer/dryer is not available until further notice.



HOUSE RULES:

- Please note that the pool maintenance is scheduled every (Tuesday & Friday). We'll kindly ask you to grant access to the maintenance staff, there is no specific time for this service. (the maintenance service may be subject to changes)

- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.

- No smoking of any kind is allowed on the premises. Smoking tobacco, cannabis or the use of any recreational drugs in the house is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.

- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.

- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.

- No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.

- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay.

- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during your stay.

- Please avoid moving furniture.

- Pets are not allowed.

- Please avoid sitting on the sofas while wearing wet clothes - this practice stains fabrics and creates mold. You will be responsible for any damages made to the furniture during your stay.

- Please close and lock all doors and windows upon check out. By failing to do so you will incur a penalty of $50 USD.



To ensure full transparency, we want to let you know that the upkeep of common areas is managed by the complex administration. While we strive to provide an excellent experience, the condition of these areas is beyond our control. By sharing this in advance, we aim to keep your expectations aligned and maintain the high standards we are committed to.



Please note that you may hear dogs barking during your stay, as some neighboring homes have dogs.



As a precaution, please do not lock the interior doors, as we do not have keys to open them if needed. If locked, we would need to call a locksmith and guests would be responsible for covering the fees.



Interaction with Guests:

This is a self-check-in property. First, note, the residential area is guard gated. You’ll need to drive to the visitor’s gate on the right to get checked in by the guard and then continue on to the condo building. The condo building, Torres Cantera, where you’re staying also has controlled gate access entry.
