Amazing

The pictures (as lovely as they are) do not do this home justice. Every window offers something new. As a birder I enjoyed drinking coffee and watching them flit here and there. We have stayed in a number of rentals over the years. We found this property to be very well appointed and stocked. The furniture was all comfortable. The beds and bedding were very good There were spaces to curl up in for alone time and also spaces to gather as a group. 10 of 10

A Wonderful Stay!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was perfect for a three-generation family gathering. We had room to spread out and loved the well-equipped kitchen and eating spaces. The pool was perfect for the kids and they enjoyed feeding the goats and checking for eggs. The view from the back porch was magnificent. The adults loved sitting on the porch with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They responded immediately with every question we had before and during our stay. Would highly recommend this home.

Better than expected

We absolutely loved our stay at Melinda’s property. It’s more stunning in person. The house is spacious and for our group of 12 comfortably. The pool and outdoor area are lovely and provide a breathtaking view of the sunset. I could not recommend this place enough!

A beautiful house

One of our best vacations ever. The house, the view and location were perfect for our three generation family of 11 (6 adults and 5 teens). We found it to be immaculately cleaned and was fully equipped throughout the house especially in the kitchen and with plenty of pool toys. The pool, cabana, hot tub and fire pit got plenty of use! The hosts (Melinda and John) were very responsive to any of our questions or requests with great communication both before and during our visit. Fully recommend a stay here.

Family Vacation

The property was perfect for us and nicer than advertised. I don’t know who enjoyed the goats and chickens more the adults or my grandchildren. We took full advantage of everything the property had to offer. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular and the hosts, Melinda and John were very attentive. All that being said, it was a great family vacation for us.

Family Thanksgiving get together

My wife and I brought our two young boys and met y brother and sister in law as well as my father and mother in law for Thanksgiving. We had a great time at the house swimming and exploring these property.

Amazing views!

This was a beautiful property set on an amazing mountain with spectacular views. The house was warm and inviting, well stocked with everything we needed, the beds were all comfy andthe hosts were perfect. There was nothing that could have made it a more perfect vacation for our family of 10.

Amazing Property For Friends Retreat!

This property was absolutely amazing. We loved chatting around the fire and exploring the farm and gardens. Such a unique place to stay (and not a far drive from downtown San Diego). Highly recommend!

Seven Palms Vacation

We stayed at Seven Palms for 6 nights for a special family gathering and had a wonderful experience. Melinda and John's communications with us and their attention to anything we needed were perfect. Their home was very welcoming and exceptional and kept our 5 grandkids very busy and entertained. The pool, the animals, the vegetable garden, the wonderful music room and fuze ball really made a big difference. We spent a lot of time at the home, but driving into San Diego for a day and also to Legoland was very easy. We ended most days sitting around the fire pit roasting smores. We also hired a local photographer (Chasing Light Photography) to come take pictures, which worked out great. I would not hesitate to recommend this home and give it 5 stars!

Absolutely Amazing

The property has one of the most beautiful views you can ask for. The outdoor spaces including the courtyard, fire pits, pool/hot tub give off a serene feeling. The private driveway transports you to what feels like a secluded getaway. The house is amazing, very big and spacious, plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone. The stories told throughout the house give you a sense of how special this place it. Big bonus for my group was the basketball hoop in the driveway. I would definitely book again.

Family Getaway

We all loved this beautiful home and want to come again next year! The house is large, updated and very clean! The kids enjoyed seeing the goats and chickens and especially had fun in the lovely pool! The owner was there when we arrived and was super kind to the kids and showed them around, showed them the pool toyed, etc. My family and I highly recommend this VRBO.

Fabulous Property

Seven Palms was the most beautiful VRBO we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. Melinda and John, the hosts, were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. We had an early 70th bday gathering of grandparents, children and grandchildren. EVERYONE loved the property. From the goats and chickens and collecting fresh eggs, the garden and orchard full of produce, the fire pit where we made s’mores, the pool that no one wanted to get out of, and the most fabulous view we took advantage of every morning on the patio with coffee and every evening with wine. Huge kitchen, dining inside and out, and all the amenities we could have asked for. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Family vacation

The property looked even better than the pictures on VRBO. The layout of the house was perfect for 6 adults and 3 children under 6. The house had all the amenities needed for our stay. The view was excellent with beautiful sunsets every night. We all enjoyed the pool and had fun feeding the goats. The location was convenient for going to the zoo and Coronado Beach. Also, enjoyed going up to Mt Helix. Steve and Melinda were excellent hosts. Definitely a great house for a family getaway!

What an incredible property. Our group had six children under 4yrs old and we could not have asked for better accommodations. From the pool to the chickens and goats the property has it all. Our entire group felt at home during our stay and we would absolutely recommend this property for others planning a trip to San Diego or the surrounding area.

Multi Generational family stay

We spent a long weekend at Seven Palms. Multiple families and generations stayed together and had plenty of room to spread out and be together! Pictures don’t do this house justice. It looks incredible in pictures but is even better in person.

Incredible property, amazing views!

Family of all ages enjoyed exploring, swimming and roasting marshmallows together. The house is incredibly well-stocked with supplies for cooking, games and outdoor play. The architecture is beautiful and we can’t wait to return!
