The most wonderful experience for our family. An amazing house for our kids and grandkids with plenty of spaces to enjoy, but our favorite was the goats and chickens with daily fresh eggs, the amazing sunset views every morning, and the relaxing pool area. Although we came to San Diego to enjoy the zoo and beach, we spent the majority of the time at the house together.

This house was incredible! We had multiple families staying here, so many adults and children all under the age of 6 and this place was everything we could have hoped for. The pool, the views, the land and play areas. The house was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. We were all very sad to leave and go back to reality lol. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. Truly a wonderful experience!

Superb spacious property that’s well maintained and in a beautiful hilltop location overlooking San Diego. The owners are the most gracious and generous hosts. The presence of farm animals was such a surprise for the children. We hope to visit again in the future.

Seven Palms was the perfect destination for our family meet-up with folks driving in from San Francisco and Phoenix. The house provided breathtaking views, a plethora of activities, and a large kitchen and dining area for meals (inside and outside). The enclosed grassy area, pool, playground, and friendly chickens and goats were highlights for two energetic toddlers. And the location made day outings to the San Diego Zoo and Coronado Island very easy. Melinda and John were great hosts, and we look forward to a future visit.

We hosted our annual family reunion and attended the Miramar air show. The place was so beautiful we could have just stayed there the whole time. 4 of 5 rooms are suites with bathrooms. Stunning view. So many inviting places to relax and visit. Owner very helpful. All attendees want to come back and stay again. A 'Rock Star' home!!!

Softball tourney getaway

We enjoyed our stay immensely! After intense days of softball games it was so nice to come back and bbq, swim and relax by the fire pit in the evening! The kids loved hanging out and feeding the goats and chickens! We would absolutely stay there again!

Beautiful…the landscape, hummingbirds, something for everyone to do, the secret room where we told ghosts stories in, s’mores over the fire pit. It’s just so relaxing and homey. The goats and fresh eggs were so much fun. The books and magazine! A great place to stay whether you are 2 or 70. It was priceless for our family. Thank you so much!

Amazing

The pictures (as lovely as they are) do not do this home justice. Every window offers something new. As a birder I enjoyed drinking coffee and watching them flit here and there. We have stayed in a number of rentals over the years. We found this property to be very well appointed and stocked. The furniture was all comfortable. The beds and bedding were very good There were spaces to curl up in for alone time and also spaces to gather as a group. 10 of 10

A Wonderful Stay!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was perfect for a three-generation family gathering. We had room to spread out and loved the well-equipped kitchen and eating spaces. The pool was perfect for the kids and they enjoyed feeding the goats and checking for eggs. The view from the back porch was magnificent. The adults loved sitting on the porch with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. The hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They responded immediately with every question we had before and during our stay. Would highly recommend this home.

Better than expected

We absolutely loved our stay at Melinda’s property. It’s more stunning in person. The house is spacious and for our group of 12 comfortably. The pool and outdoor area are lovely and provide a breathtaking view of the sunset. I could not recommend this place enough!

A beautiful house

One of our best vacations ever. The house, the view and location were perfect for our three generation family of 11 (6 adults and 5 teens). We found it to be immaculately cleaned and was fully equipped throughout the house especially in the kitchen and with plenty of pool toys. The pool, cabana, hot tub and fire pit got plenty of use! The hosts (Melinda and John) were very responsive to any of our questions or requests with great communication both before and during our visit. Fully recommend a stay here.
