El hotel está súper lindo, recién remodelado, cuenta con todo lo que requieres para una estancia agradable, la zona es insuperable, todo está muy cerca caminando y está a una cuadra de la playa, la atención que nos dio el personal del hotel fue maravillosa, definitivamente recomendado para viajes de pareja o familia.

Great place. The room was spaceous and very clean. Comfortable with very modern ammenities. Great location, walking distance from cliffs and really great restaurants. (Lupi Italian Dining was the best!) Thanks for a great stay!

I was visiting for a conference and instead of staying at the conference hotel, I decided to stay at The Sands of La Jolla. I had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff was wonderful! I asked for an early check-in as my flight was getting in early, and they could accommodate that (with a minor fee). The rooms were very clean and quiet. The temperature control was good. There are a couple of nice restaurants nearby. There's a small park that overlooks the bluffs a 3-4 minute walk away. The beach is a little further down. The area around the hotel is walkable and seemed very safe. 10/10 would visit again!

I visited San Diego on a solo trip in order to explore a new environment & to "get away from it all". I can say with confidence that I had an amazing stay at Sands of La Jolla. It was exactly what I needed for a place to rest in between my adventures! The room was very clean, and had a simple yet warming design with a good amount of space to put your things at. Unlike a lot of hotel rooms I stayed in, there wasn't a strong smell of cleaning products. The service at the front desk was awesome, shoutout to Denise! She even offered to hold my luggage for me because my flight was much later. The male receptionist (I didn't get his name sorry) was very helpful in regards to the TV in the room. The location was very convenient as everything was at least 5 mins away and 25 mins at most. A very beautiful area. When I go back to San Diego, I would stay here again!

The property seemed to be newly renovated and had a very modern look. The room was spacious and had all of the amenities needed. The only thing missing was a full-length mirror. The room had some sort of odor that was unappealing.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel is clean, everybody who worked there was so kind and friendly and the location was great. Would Harley recommend.

Our favorite thing was our morning walks to get coffee and sip it whole overlooking the ocean. The safety of the area and the accessibility to beautiful homes, shops, and the ocean meant everything with this stay. The hotel was a comfortable stay, nothing fancy. Beds were nice, rooms were clean.

This was our second time staying here. Awesome location. Clean. Safe. Comfortable. The only complaint i have would be that the room smelled a little musty upon arrival. Other than that, everything was great.

Love the property. Clean and new, up to date decoration and facility. The room comes with a balcony which is nice, though not much view to see. Location wise, it is okay, there are dinings and some shops nearby but not many.

We stayed here for a work trip and check in was difficult. They require that you have a CC in hand and the person who owns the CC there with you or they won't let you check in. They say if you pay online that isn't an issue but that wasn't an option for us when booking. Just keep that in mind if you are booking for things business related.
