This is a cozy place in La Jolla. We were able to walk everywhere, which was great. The place was clean and the hosts were very responsive throughout the process. We loved the outdoor patio area. We also appreciated the fans provided, since we knew there was no air conditioning. We kept the windows open and the fans running, which also provided great white noise since the place is on a busy intersection. We would definitely stay there again! Thanks to Eric and Yvonne for being excellent hosts. They even allowed us to check in quite early on Friday, which was much appreciated.

We had the pleasure of meeting Yvonne after one of our walks into town. Great location to get to the La Jolla cove and great restaurants...a list of which was provided by Yvonne and Eric. We enjoyed our escape for the heat in the central valley!

Super studio style 1 BR 1BA with sweet furnishings and an amazing terrace patio. Everything we wanted to see (& do) in LJ was within walking distance. On-site owner was very responsive. I hope to stay here again!

Check-in was quick. Quick response to all messages I sent thru the VRBO app. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom has shower and tub. Patio is so comfy to read or play on your phone, especially at sunset. Sleeping in the living room (closest to the busy intersection) was a little louder than I expected because it was warm and we kept the windows open, but we couldn’t hear the traffic at all from the bedroom. I’m still leaving 5 stars because the description is very thorough and we had no surprises. Just make sure to read the full details and you’ll love it here! Very walkable area and homeowners were kind and super responsive! Would stay here again!

A La Jolla retreat

Wonderful 4-night stay. Comfortable, well-equipped, clean, cozy but spacious, easy walk to groceries and cafes in the heart of La Jolla village. Off street parking is a huge advantage, although you need a bit of practice to get in and out of the driveway on a busy corner. Great local info and directions from our hosts. Loved the elevated and covered patio for morning coffee. There is street noise, but never enough to bother us even when we kept the windows open all the time for those beautiful cool ocean breezes. Will plan to stay there again on any other visit to the area!

Central location in lovely little house

We loved this little house! It was centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit! San Diego Zoo, Safari Park, Balboa Park, La Jolla beach, etc.

We really enjoyed our stay. Such a cute place with a wonderful patio. Everything we did was within walking distance which was great given the traffic this time of year. The only downside is the traffic noise when on the patio. The property is at a very busy intersection. The kitchen in the bedroom is a bit unusual but we didn’t use it so it wasn’t an issue.

Great location and communication

Host gave great instructions and place was as described. The uniti s the upstairs of the owner's property but it wasn't a problem.The location is ideal and easy walking distance to the beach and shops and restaurants. Lovely outdoor space. Comfy bed and sofa bed but awkward setup for kitchenette and bathroom is tight. Overall a good stay for the price and location.

Great little apartment super location!

This was by far the cutest, coziest and sun filled VRBO I have ever stayed at. Lovely outdoor patio area, comfortable family room, comfortable primary bedroom and a clean, new white bathroom. There is a small kitchenette that has everything you could possibly need. Walk right into the best part of town for shopping, restaurants and access to the beach! I would definitely return.

La Casita

We loved staying at ‘La Casita’! It was clean, had very nice furnishings and good location allowing easy walking distance to anywhere in La Jolla. There was a lovely private patio with great sun exposure. Good amenities; tv, internet, nice towels.

Perfect Location

We loved our stay, the residence is in the perfect location to walk to everything. Owners were very helpful and friendly. We were in town for a family wedding and this location was a perfect get away. It was wonderful to have coffee and drinks on the patio in between festivities. Our friends that joined us said that the pull out bed from the couch was very comfortable. We would stay again
