Great location; property owner super easy to work with

Located at the La Jolla Cove it was perfect for observing sea life, diving, and beautiful sunsets! Sunny Jim cave is close by and a beautiful Cliff Walk as well. We walked to wonderful shopping and restaurants. For good Boogie boarding we had to drive elsewhere. Clem was easy easy to work with and helpful. Overall we enjoyed the location and the condo!

Location, location, location

Unbelievable location right on La Jolla Cove. Sit on the balcony and relax or walk to shops and restaurants just steps away. Listen to the sea lions bark, watch the swimmers go by and enjoy your day. The unit is completely modernized and easy access. We will stay here again.

Location is Everything!

The location of this property is amazing and the unit itself well equipped and cared for. Clem is quick to respond should you need anything and happy to offer suggestions and or recommendations. The garage is small so be aware if you drive a regular or large size SUV that you'll need to park outside. Not to worry there is plenty of parking in the area and you can always park in front of the garage until traffic clears and/or a space opens up if you should need to. We really enjoyed the layout of the unit and all of the windows. Although it is pretty busy during the day with people coming and going to check out the seals, the stunning views and or to go snorkeling it is quiet at night. My family and I enjoyed it so much we can't wait to come back. It's just that lovely.

Outstanding experience!

Our stay in this condo was fantastic! Clem is an extraordinary host. He was incredibly responsive to our texts and any requests. He keeps the unit stocked with ample supplies, and if we needed something, he had it sent over in no time. Though the building itself is a bit tired, the unit is lovely, well-appointed, and in nice condition. It has virtually everything one could need in the kitchen, and there are ample towels, excellent bedding, etc. The view is to die for, and there are motorized blinds over the bank of windows when needed. A huge bonus is the attached parking with an elevator. We will definitely return!

Great place and host

Clem made the process very easy and check in was smooth, very helpful and available, like a personal concierge. He was able to fix or compensate all the issues we encountered and made a memorable and enjoyable stay, will be a repeat client for sure. Location is the best, within walking distance to everything, shops, beach, artists, farmers market, food, surf, park...you'll love it

A magical spot

This was our best vacation rental ever. Two things made it so; a unique location with a bounty of marine life right across the street, and our friendly and responsive host, Clem, who made us feel truly welcome. Clem’s condo is by no means glamorous, but it is comfortable, with a kitchen that’s surprisingly well equipped. Its biggest selling point is the full-length window that looks out onto the ocean, the coast, and the critters. There’s a popular restaurant right next door, but it didn’t bother us. There’s also a steady stream of traffic (both people and cars) but that didn’t bother us either. The noise insulation is excellent and the tourists leave at dusk. You will enjoy the intrepid swimmers who show up in the early morning to plunge into the (not warm) ocean. The condo has no outdoor space apart from a small balcony. But it sits on miles and miles of scenic bluffs, beaches and parks. The village of La Jolla, with restaurants, shops and galleries, is a just short walk up the hill. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous view, fully equipped unit and a great host.

This unit has everything you want to enjoy Lajolla. Close to all food shopping, restaurants and nice shops. It is located just across from Lajolla cove where you can hear the seal lions and (smell them..that's why I gave it 4 stars for location). It is fully equipped: washer / dryer, plenty of towels, soap, lotion, sheets, blow dryer, vaccum... You can even find 2 sets of binoculars to watch the animals closely. Clem is an outstanding host. He'll answer you right away and solve any issue immediately. He made the process to enter the building and the unit quite easy so you don't need to see anyone. We had a late flight getting to SD. Clem asked us to send him what we'll need for food and had it waiting for us at the door when we got there and didn't charge us. You really cannot ask for a better host...that's why even if the smell bothered us sometimes, I will not hesitate to go there next time I'm in Lajolla.

Top location in La Jolla!

This property is in one of the best locations in La Jolla, literally across the road, 100 yards from the La Jolla Cove. We could walk to all stores and restaurants as well as the various beaches around La Jolla. This is also a fantastic base if you want to explore San Diego as well as the beaches north of La Jolla. The property itself is very well appointed and managed. Perfect for my wife and I for a one month stay including our two adult children who came to stay for one week. I highly recommend this property. We'll definitely be back!

We spent five weeks getting to know La Jolla and this was the perfect place to do so. Perfectly located with a beautiful view we could walk to everything. Clem was very helpful with the few minor issues we had. The house was equipped with everything we needed and was very comfortable. We felt very much at home there

Amazing location, amazing apartment!

Wow, what a great location. We stayed here for 4 months. We loved every moment. We enjoyed the 4th of July fireworks on the balcony (as they were literally across the road). Within easy walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and grocery store. Apartment is extremely well equipped and spacious. Plenty of afternoons enjoyed at the park across the road and endless sunsets viewed with a cup of tea in the evening from the balcony and lounge. Owner was very easy to deal with and was always available. Highly recommend!

Spectacular views with the perfect location

My husband and I stayed at this condo for three weeks. The location was perfect. The downtown area of LaJolla, restaurants, shopping, and the grocery store all were within walking distance. It was enjoyable to see sea lions, seals, dolphins, and gray whales right across the street. The unit was very clean and nicely updated with hardwood floors, granite counter tops, and comfortable furnishings. The views of the Pacific Ocean were spectacular from the balcony and inside looking out from the floor to ceiling windows. Having a garage for the car and laundry facilities in the unit was a big plus. The owner was extremely helpful with nearby restaurant suggestions. He checked in often and really wanted to make sure we were happy with the overall experience during our stay at his unit. When we return to LaJolla we would stay here again.
