Great home for a large family. We had enough space to spread out. The hot tub was the biggest hit for us. Something we look forward to after a long day of beachin’ or exploring. Location is a 10/10 for us because it was walkable to so many places nearby. Beach was just a few blocks away. We love this area of La Jolla and plan to return every year we come out.

The property was very welcoming to our golden retriever. The house was very large and comfortable. It was an easy walk to the beach, and to restaurants, and to the best ice cream shop.We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wondeful time in La Jolla. The home and it's very comfortable accommodations and amenities( beach buggy plus the sand toys were a hit) helped to make our stay truly memorable!

Great location and space for big family. The hot tub had a couple of hic cups according to my father in law. The upstairs shower drained slow and the upstairs a/c stopped working for a day, but quite, great location for us.

A Perfect Week

We just spent a wonderful family week at Shores Villa in La Jolla. Here's just a bit of what we appreciated:*plenty of parking*house has a great floor plan for group socializing and places for quiet time*amenities such as spices, olive oil, sugar for coffee, etc*all the beach supplies - boogie boards, sand toys, chairs*delightful walk to town and beach*spa and outside table for dining*Just what we needed - we'll be back!

Fun in the Sun!

We loved this location! Walking distance to beach and all the things you need to enjoy a day at the beach! We went every day! We had 8 people and there was plenty of room to spread out! Great backyard and hot tub, our dog loved it! Kitchen was well equipped and we cooked a lot! We used the outdoor grill quite a bit! Lots of cute restaurant nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious home with great location

We stayed here with our adult children and grandchildren and had a fabulous experience. 5 spacious bedrooms with 5 bathrooms and a gorgeous yard with hot tub, fire table and outdoor couches. Loved all the beach towels, beach chairs, sand toys and stroller that were present. House is located on a busier road but we never heard any major noise or traffic. Able to walk to stores and dining easily. Loved the upstairs second family room and kitchen area. Would def stay here again. Management was very responsive and helpful!

Nice house, difficult location

This is a nice house but the location is so difficult. The driveway is hard to get in and out of. You are in the shores but can’t walk to anything because there are no sidewalks and it’s super busy so we weren’t going to walk with a stroller. Lighting outside in front and in the back by garbage is very poor. Also loose bricks line walkway in front so tripping hazard. Being at this house in the shores defeats the purpose of being in the shores in my opinion. House is nicely appointed.

Perfect reunion spot

Beautiful, spacious and quiet home in a location that allows you to leave the car in the driveway and walk to all the best spots in La Jolla. It was a perfect spot for a reunion with friends! The host went above and beyond providing neighborhood info and suggestions. We can’t wait to return to this jewel of a place.

Fall Break Family Fun

Booked this home for three families to enjoy fall break. It was perfect! All the children had their own space and the beach was a short walk away. Communication was easy, and the grocery delivery was an extra perk. Would definitely book again.

Family getaway

We stayed at the house with other family for a family wedding. The home was perfect, with just a two exceptions. There was room for all 7 adults and 3 kids to sit at the dining room table. Plenty of room for sleeping, we didn't even use one room. The backyard was so peaceful and a beautiful little oasis. The beach chairs(looked new) and towels were very much appreciated. We walked to the beach with the kids, it was an easy walk, used the wagon, really loved having that. I highly recommend this home for a large group, we enjoyed the fire and hot tub, didn't use the bbq. There were 2 reasons we couldn't give it 5 stars. The pillows were either too big, too flat or too lumpy. Beds were comfortable. The other reason was the fry pans, there is a picture attached of the only 2 fry pans, and those were chipped up teflon, and too small to cook for a large group. This was very disappointing. We did have trouble lighting the fire and I texted with the mgmt group and they were very responsive. Overall, if they invest in some frypans and pillows, this place is 5 star! Great spot for family/friend groups to gather.

La Jolla Shores Summer

We recently stayed at this property for a week with our family. We loved all the space and the upstairs area made a great playroom for the younger kiddos. All the showers had shampoo and such provided. Beds were all clean and comfy. Backyard was really large and nice for relaxing after the beach. We used the spa and it was a lovely added bonus! Overall I would absolutely recommend this property to others. The walk to the beach is doable but with our younger kiddos we did use a wagon. It is also even closer to all the shops and restaurants which is nice if you don’t want to cook. Like the property details mentions it is on a busy road but it didn’t really bother us at all. The only room you could really hear it from was the two king bed room on the second level. It is a great property and communication with the property management team was seamless.

Great location, house and host communication

We stayed here for 5 nights with 6 adults and 4 children (ages 4-10) and the house had the perfect layout for us. We put the kids upstairs in the bedroom with 2 king beds and they had their own hangout space, which they loved. The kitchen is very open and multiple people could be in there and it didn't feel crowded. We loved being able to walk to the beach (and use the provided wagon, chairs, and boogie boards) and also walk to meals and the little corner store. The host had the best communication we've ever had through a vacation rental home. We were all highly impressed with this property! Would definitely recommend.

Definitely recommend

There were 12 of us total, gathering for a family wedding from NY and CO (older couple and 3 families- 2 which had children, ages 1, 2, 4 and 5). It was a wonderful stay, everything that was described, seen in the pictures were accurate. We went to the beach daily (plenty of chairs and a beach wagon available). The walk was easy (we brought 2 strollers for all kids). Passed through a cute area with shops/food on the way to the beach. Able to get food as needed, little convenience items available as well at shops. Grilled one night at the house, other nights we went down to the beach area to grab dinner. House was on a main road but one would never know as there was no noise once in the house/backyard. Backyard was perfect for both kids and adults. Communication with host was great. Needed some baby items and they recommended us to a local company to rent and everything was delivered and clean. I don’t know the next time we will get out to San Diego but if we do, we would rent again. Definitely recommend!

Shores Perfection

Everything was perfect. Owners were very attentive and communicated the entire stay. House was set up perfect for our needs and backyard area was very relaxing. It was the perfect location for walking to restaurants and shops. Will put it on our must stay again when there.
