Cute little spot just a few blocks up from the ocean. Check in was easy, instructions were very clear. Thankful for the driveway as parking in this area is less than ideal. The property was clean. The main house was open, beddrooms nice. We did not do any cooking while we were there, so I cannot really speak to the availability of kitchenware. The guest house, Casita, is a cute little spot. However, when we arrived, it had a very strong, not pleasant smell in it. We ended up keeping the windows open the whole time we were there and the slider open as much as possible to help air it out. The one thing I would suggest for the guest house, would be a small portable closet, or somewhere to hang clothes. My boyfriend and I used the little house and let the adult kids have the big house, and we had no place to put our clothes the 5 days we were there, other than on the couch. The outdoor area is a nice spot to hang out at! We sat out there a few times in the aftenroon and evenings when we were there and it was a comfrotable spot to relax. The little town with a couple of restaurants, small grocery store, and a 7 Eleven was just a few minutes walk, and then in the other direction, more of the La Jolla village, was about a 15 minute walk. So, all very reasonable walking distances and cute little shops and restaurants around!
