Beautiful Lakeside Home

The property is nestled beside a small lake, with a great deck with incredible views of the lake. Very comfortable and cozy bedroom. We made all of our meals there for a group of 4 adults. Beautiful place to get away and chill.

Close to nature

My wife and I spent 4 nights here, and very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin is enjoyable on many levels - the log construction, hint of cedar aroma inside, great layout, great views out the windows through the trees and over the lake, wonderful porch with comfortable furniture and with ceiling fans (made outside possible even on 100 degree days). Caught some nice fish from the pond and saw deer every morning and evening, several times right next to the cabin. We would love a return visit.

Peaceful and quiet.

The pictures say a lot but actually being there made it so much better. My wife, kids and myself felt like we were in our dream home. We loved everything about the place and the owners were more than helpful and respond right away. We plan to stay again soon.

Perfect cabin for a quiet getaway

We stayed at this amazing cabin for a girl's weekend. This beautiful cabin was lovingly maintained, and Ashley was an amazing host. The cabin is very well stocked and ideally located to enjoy the Winter Show in Round Top. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

We had a wonderful time, the cabin is a great retreat for a get away and nice area to enjoy Round top as well as a visit to Blue Bell ice cream. Ashley the host was very easy to communicate with. Would stay again.

Serene getaway

We wanted to get away from the city, hoping to find a cabin in the woods by water. This property was perfect! Beautiful rustic cabin with all the modern amenities. Two spacious bedrooms and 2 nice bathrooms gave us privacy and room to spread out. The best feature is the covered back deck overlooking the lake. The kitchen and bath were stocked with generous supplies, like coffee, creamer, toiletries, and all the kitchen equipment we could ask for. We just brought our clothes and a little food. There was even plenty of entertainment, like corn hole, board games, DVDs, and 2 TVs with streaming apps. We wished we could stay longer! Next time!

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

Enjoyed our stay in this comfy cabin. The porch overlooking the water is surrounded by trees & had us feeling like we were truly on vacation - while being easy driving distance to La Grange. Property is well maintained & has all the comforts.

Great place out of town

This place has all the elements of a great VRBO. Comfortable beds and furniture, well-stocked supplies and thoughtful extras like tooth paste, filtered water and blankets for lounging. It is always so much better to stay at a place managed by the owners like this place because everything one could want or need is included whereas managed properties typically only have the bare minimum of things and sometimes the furniture looks good but isn’t so comfortable. I highly recommend this place if you are wanting a more quiet retreat away from town. The neighborhood looks a little rundown when first entering but this house especially is kept up amazingly well and the private neighborhood made for great walking trails.

Love this property. We had a great time staying here. It was quaint and quiet. We enjoyed sitting in the back porch and reading and relaxing. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. If you need a relaxing quiet getaway this is the place for you.

Thanksgiving Getaway

My family and I loved our stay at the la grange. Ashley was very sweet and easy to communicate with. The place was so beautiful and clean with an amazing view. Very comfortable beds and clean sheets. I highly recommend it for anyone who is trying to leave out of town for a couple of days . We will for sure be returning another time.
